If you’ve ever needed to control your Android device remotely from your computer or laptop then you understand the many benefits of using an app combo like AirDroid. The latest update adds the ability to record the smartphone screen, copy between clipboards and reply directly to instant messenger apps.
A much sought after feature for AirDroid is finally released- the ability to screen record the device from the computer. The record button can be found at bottom of the AirMirror window to easily toggle screen recording. Additionally, you can copy and paste text from the computer to the smartphone and vice-versa. This is a useful feature for those in the office that desire the full physical keyboard to enhance the productivity of the mobile experience. Lastly, the app support two new instant messaging apps; Skype and Line. For instance, say you started a chat on your smartphone- you can continue that via the desktop using the full keyboard.
The new update is available for Windows and Mac. No rooting required. Any phones with Android OS 4.1 or later are supported. You just need to have both the Android client (AirDroid 3.2.0 or later) and Windows client (3.3.0 or later) installed.
