Brian Cube is a challenging yet fun puzzler with bright, smooth graphics and addictive gameplay. It might not suit everyone, but it can be enjoyed by the hardcore puzzle addicts and casual conundrum solvers alike.
The game features 40 levels across four different environments; Grass, Ice, Fire and Space. Dimensions are added to gameplay by the introduction of different squares that alter the level, sometimes helping, sometimes hindering. For example, some squares will crumble away if you roll on them, others will teleport your block to another part of the puzzle board and others will split your block into two pieces for easier navigation.
The basic premise of the game is to roll blocks into holes to reach the next level similar to Nintaii and CubicMan. The controls are straightforward- you basically stroke the blocks in the direction you want it to go. The idea is fiendishly simple yet as you progress, each level becomes mind-bendingly tricky.
It is easy to be seduced by the simplistic gameplay and basic early levels. However the game has a steep learning curve. Patience really does pay off though when you negotiate a difficult level.

If puzzle games are your thing, Brain Cube is lots of fun. The gameplay is simple yet incredibly challenging and, with the various scoring options, the game becomes a highly addictive little time killer.
The graphics are good, especially for a game of this kind that doesn’t necessarily require monumental pixelation, and I think the developers get just the right balance between beauty and function. Some free games can get mildly spoilt by intrusive advertising, but this isn’t the case with Brain Cube with the advertising banner sitting nicely out of the playing area of your screen.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The sound would be one of few criticisms. For the first few minutes the music is fine, but it quickly becomes repetitive and irritating.
