At GDC, I came a across a brand new game that aims to reinvent education concepts by learning Chemistry through the use of familiar role play gaming called ChemCaper: Act I – Petticles in Peril. The game released today for Android and iOS.
ChemCaper offers is a unique twist on RPG genre by being the world’s first to combine the concept with Chemistry. The synopsis is to ultimately learn the periodic table by combining compounds earned from battles with various foes in the game- thus forming as allies.
ChemCaper was founded by teachers of the Sri Emas & Dwi Emas International School as a way to get children excited about learning Chemistry. Kids ages 10-14 will be able to learn Chemistry concepts such as the various chemical bonds and apparatus throughout gameplay, exploration and mini games. It costs eight bucks in Google Play, download it to your phone or tablet for your children using the Install button above.
