The Samsung Galaxy Note II will hit five carrier shelves in the U.S. in mid November just in time for the holidays; the list includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless & U.S. Cellular. Each carrier will announce their own specific release dates and pricing.
The Galaxy Note II features Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), a larger 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display and is the first device in the U.S. to launch with a quad-core processor. Most notable about the second gen phablet (phone-tablet) is the enhanced S Pen and new S Pen apps, plus it will be optimized for the fastest 4G LTE and HSPA+ 42 mobile Internet networks.
Update: So far, Sprint has told us their customers will get access to their Truly Unlimited 4G LTE data, text and calling to any mobile on Galaxy Note 2. It will be available in Marble White or Titanium Gray.
Update: U.S. Cellular has confirmed to us that the 4G LTE phone will be available to customers for preorder today and will be available in stores in late October. They will have the 16GB Titanium Gray device, and it will be $299.99 with an instant rebate for those who preorder it.
