Magic Jigsaw Puzzles packs more than 20k+ puzzles. You can choose high quality photos from categories such as animals, paintings, nature landscapes and more. There is soothing zen-filled music playing in background making for a play at your own pace puzzler. There are four different piece count levels consisting of 35, 70, 140, or 280 pieces plus you can go a step farther and randomize the orientation of the pieces to simulate real gameplay. This means you will have to rotate the piece in the correct position in addition to correct placement. To do so, simply tap the piece and it rotates 90 degrees clockwise. There are some convenient helpers when solving a jigsaw puzzle in a virtual game. For instance correct pieces snap together and do not come apart. Or you can toggle only the edge pieces and solve as a strategy for building.
As you play there is a leveling as well as currency system used for purchasing more puzzles with virtual currency if you wish to conserve real coin. *For an in-app purchase, you can unlock the ability to create your own jigsaw puzzles from your own photos. These can be taken using the device camera or uploaded from the Gallery. Purchasing this upgrade removes ads, offers a few new backgrounds and more puzzle themes. “The Best in the World” is a new added feature where the community can submit their puzzle and if approved it can be added for others in the community to solve.
I personally have a few gripes; that being laggy start up and transitioning between screens, plus the touch response of handling pieces are not the greatest. Many times I seemed to have selected the incorrect piece, which could become frustrating.
