Restaurant Story is a social dining game where you and your friends can design restaurants with stunning variety and creativity!
Version: 1.0.3 (for Android version 2.1 and higher)
Developer: TeamLava LLC
Pros & Cons:
- Great graphics, smooth gameplay
- Can get addicting (can this be a con too?)
- Social interaction is integrated using Storm8
- HUGE download (14.2 MB)
- Push notifications were a nice idea but didn’t always work
Restaurant Story follows the niche of dining games that allows you to create a restaurant that fits your style. You can customize the layout, furniture, walls, decorations and most importantly the food that you serve to your customers. As you continue throughout the game and gain higher levels, you’ll unlock more food that you can prepare and cook in your restaurant along with furniture and ovens to cook with!
The graphics are great and gameplay is very smooth. You can use pinch and zoom on your touch screen to help organize your restaurant as it continues to grow in size. Push notifications are nice to help remind you when you food is ready to serve although I found that there were times that the notifications did not work and thus spoiled the food I was cooking (I became a little too reliant on them rather than keeping track of time). The social integration is pretty neat since you can use your Storm8 ID that you use with games such as iMobster and World War.
If your into these type of games, this can be quite fun. It tends to pull you in and bring you back playing the game over and over and over again. Repetitive but fun!
This can be addicting. Keep playing the game for an extended period of time and you’ll find yourself checking your restaurant several times a day.
