Airport City: Make Your Own Dream World A Reality
If you want to enjoy an epic flight simulator along with the thrill of managing your own airport, then we’ve got the perfect game for you. Airport City takes the best of two worlds in just the right proportions to make this game more enjoyable than your average simulator games. Airport City is published by none other than the Russian publisher, Game Insight, whose specialty is city-building games, so this game may prove more interesting than you might expect.
Introduction to the Game
You are greeted by your fellow Air Hostess, Jane who then guides you through the game. The basics are well explained and you are given some free coins at the start of the game so you can understand the game mechanics. You start with a tiny village, a fledging airport, and a dream to build the best international airport in the world. The first and most important task is to build more runways because you won’t be landing too many planes without that. After you’ve made your runways, you need to buy more hangers so that you can invest in more planes and make your airport operational.
Making A Good Airport
As you level up in the game, you can get exciting rewards like coins, new structures for your city, and much more. The more you level up, the bigger your airport will become, so invest carefully and plan strategically to have the best output from your game.
Complete daily missions like any other game to progress smoothly in the game. More missions get unlocked as you complete the previous ones, so be sure to look out for them. The missions are made in such a way that you don’t have to go out of your way to complete, and will eventually become a part of your plan.
Once you start managing flights, the game really picks up the pace. Select a hanger and choose a flight from the list of available planes. You will start with only one destination at first, but more will unlock as you reach new levels and get more experience. Each flight costs a certain amount of fuel and passengers, and as you repeat the same flight, you’ll increase your flight’s rank from zero all the way up to three stars. Each level up offers free rewards such as free passengers. You can gain fuel over time just like other city builder games.
Hanger helps you manage all your planes and shows you the details regarding all of them. You can upgrade your planes, repair them, or even sell them to buy a better and improved one from the shop. However, you need to upgrade your warehouse in order to manage high-level planes.
Warehouse, as the name suggests, stores your extra items that are currently not in use. If you don’t want to sell a plane, you can reserve it in the warehouse, so that it does not take unnecessary space in your hanger. You can access extra items like fuel cans, passengers, and others to use them instantly so that you don’t have to wait for the timer to fill them up. Manage your warehouse properly, use items at appropriate times so that you don’t run out of stock, after all a good airport can’t run without supplies.
Apart from your own airport and plane management, you can sometimes receive requests from Guest Planes to land in your airport. Guest Planes offers extra rewards so be sure to look out for them. You can access the Guest Planes request from the radar on the right side of the screen. They require special permissions for them to land, so make sure to fulfill them before you accept their request.
Growing Airports Needs Thriving Cities
Now that you have created a nice airport, how are you going to make it famous? Yes, by making a beautiful city to attract lots of tourists. This game is not all about managing your airport, but also includes the management of your city which makes, Airport City, different from others. Make a nice and beautiful city with lots of attractions so that more people would like to visit your city and eventually making growth for your airport.
Each building has its own purpose and is not just for show. Residential buildings produce people (passengers) while buildings like restaurants and stores earn you cash for running your airport. Businesses and other buildings require electricity to run, so you need to build power plants, turbines, and other power generators. This offers a balanced playstyle to the entire game and you can’t get stuck or hungover on any single point. All your homes and commercial buildings must be connected to roads so make sure to properly plan your city beforehand.
As you travel all around the world, you can bring back rare artifacts and unique collections to make your travels more memorable. By combining these artifacts, you can make different items that you can use to make your airport and planes more lavish and grand.
The game is being constantly improved by the developers so that it won’t become repetitive over time. You can enjoy the big world offered by Airport City on a bigger screen and better graphics on PC with BlueStacks, so don’t limit yourself to the small screen.
