Ubisoft just announced Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, a new free-to-play third-person RPG shooter for Android and iOS devices. This game will be a new chapter in the Division Saga for mobile devices. Like the PC and console versions, Resurgence will be a third-person RPG shooter set in an open world.

The Division Resurgence has an independent storyline taking place between Division 1 and Division 2

The press release states that Resurgence will present “a unique perspective on key story events that have taken place in The Division and The Division 2” meaning that the storyline will be independent from other Division titles. The game will also feature an open world where players can immerse themselves in the urban environment. The title will also come with new weapons, gears, and characters.

Like the PC and console counterparts, mobile players can customize and upgrade their Division agents by collecting loot and crafting mods. Players can unlock unique weapons and gadgets by leveling up the Division agents.

Players need to save New York City from the deadly virus –

Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence will feature a different campaign from the other two titles. It takes place in New York City and shows the aftermath of a deadly virus outbreak that caused the civilization’s downfall. The PvE campaign will see players taking the role of the first wave of agents. Players need to fight to protect the civilians of Manhattan. Resurgence also features a co-op mode where they can freely roam around the environment and fight the enemies with the help of their Division agents.
