Wild Rift on PC – Ability Wheel Changes in BlueStacks Version 4.250
When League of Legends: Wild Rift was first playable via BlueStacks (version 4.240 and older), user-experience while casting abilities of champions wasn’t up to the mark. To be precise, there was a slight delay when champion abilities were cast in the game. What’s even more disturbing was that the mouse cursor would be somewhere else when casting an ability, whereas the in-game cursor would be pointing in an entirely different direction.
As you can see in the image above, in BlueStacks version 4.240, while moving the champion ‘Lux’ from the river to the middle lane via mouse cursor, the game cursor (responsible for setting the direction of the skills/abilities) wasn’t in sync with the mouse cursor. It was a big issue as casting an important ability like Lux’s first skill in the wrong direction makes her an easy prey for the enemy champion that might be hiding in the bush.
Now, take a closer look at the image shown below. While heading towards Baron Lane, Lux’s movement cursor is pointed in the direction of Baron Lane. However, on casting her first skill immediately, Lux’s first skill, ‘Light Binding’ (a crowd control effect that roots two enemies), goes slightly left from Lux’s current position from where she cast the ability initially.
Ability Wheel Fixed in BlueStacks version 4.250
In BlueStacks version 4.250, the in-game champion movement has been optimized. You can now move the champions anywhere on the map more smoothly. Moreover, some in-game tweaks were made to ensure that the champion abilities/skills were more accurate than those in version 4.240 or older.
Now, while casting champion abilities/skills, both your mouse cursor and the in-game cursor will be in sync and pointed in the same direction. Additionally, the game has been optimized so that casting champion abilities is slick!
