League of Legends Wild Rift to release Irelia in patch 2.3
League of Legends: Wild Rift has continuously made it a habit of increasing the Champion pool by adding to the currently available champions from the wide range of characters available in the PC and original version of the game, League of Legends.
Now, the mobile users will soon be getting a taste of Irelia, the Blade Dancer. The new Champion is due to arrive along with the patch version 2.3 that is likely to arrive at the end of the month or in the beginning of June.
Irelia Xan was born and brought up in the Ionian region and learnt to wield her blades with the fierceness people rarely could. While her family died, she survived and became the warrior she is known to be today. Irelia does justice to the alias ‘The Blade Dancer’ as he exhibits a fierce and exotic dance with her sharpened blades with unfathomable ease and grit.
As far as the League of Legends meta is concerned, Irelia is a melee Champion that is mostly picked as a Top Laner or a Mid Laner. Her ability to dive is supported by her ability called Bladeshurge that enables her to dash and damage enemies while healing herself to a certain extent. Ionian Fervor allows her to stack up increments of armor for every instance of damage dealt to the enemy while Defiant Dance reduces any incoming physical damage by 50%. Flawless Duet sees Irelia send her blades to do her bidding and deal damage while also stunning and revealing them for the said duration.
Irelia’s ultimate, Vanguard’s Edge, allows Irelia to send a barrage of blades in a targeted location with an AoE effect, dealing magical damage to and revealing the enemies affected by it. It will be interesting to see how Irelia will affect the current meta in League of Legends: Wild Rift once she arrives.
