League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.2 Patch Notes – New Champions, Game Mode and Skins


If you were also waiting for new champions and events just like us, then we’ve got some good news for you. Riot Games recently released the patch notes for the 2.2 update for League of Legends: Wild Rift. From its looks, five new champions will be released throughout the 2.2 update. It will also set the foundation for new game modes such as ARAM as per Riot. There’s plenty to look forward to! Without further ado, let us breakdown the full patch notes for you guys.

New Passive, Modified First Ability, and New Ultimate Ability
3. Kha’Zix

Changes to Items
Frozen Heart
70 Armor and 300 Maximum Mana
20 Ability Haste
(Passive) Winter’s Caress: The attack speed of nearby enemies is reduced by 15%
Sunfire Aegis
500 HP and 15 Ability Haste
Flametouch: At max Immolate stacks, the attacks of champion burn enemies
Immolate: Deals magic damage and 1% bonus health every second to nearby enemies
Force and Nature
350 HP and 45 Magic Resistance
(Passive) Storm: Increased movement speed by 5%
(Active) Absorb: Taking ability damage from enemies grant movement speed and magic resistances for five seconds, which stacks up to five times for a max of 30 movement speed and 20 magic resistances. Unique abilities give one stack of Absorb to the champion.

New Game Mode – ARAM
- Start Date – April (3-day test)
- However, it will be back later in the year
- A game mode on Howling Abyss with only one (Middle) lane
- Players will be allotted champions randomly with a maximum of two rerolls per game
- Average Game Time – 12 minutes
- Players can use the new summoner spell: Mark/Dash. A snowball that can be used to close the gap between you and your enemies
Interestingly, players can test out new tank items, ARAM mode, the new preference-based queue system in ranked, and the Wild Pass when Wild Rift gets updated to patch 2.2 on March 30.
