Make an early purchase of the Astral Tome. This adaptable artifact offers a useful Haste bonus for Battle Drill, good crowd control with ATK Speed Reduction for Campaign fights, and a respectable damage output. Naturally, you can improve it over time or replace it with an even better artifact. 

Tip #5. Clearing AFK Stages Should be your Priority

The first thing you should concentrate on is clearing AFK stages since doing so will allow you to access more modes and boost your passive revenue from Gold, Experience, and Essence. Additionally, after clearing a few AFK stages, you will receive an invitation letter, diamonds that will let you pull more characters, and equipment boxes that will strengthen your characters.

Tip #6. Explore the Open World for Better Rewards 

You can explore the Open World and additional modes like Arena, Dream Realm, Labyrinth, and Legend Trial that you unlocked during the game. You can push more AFK Stages with the extra benefits you can obtain there, and the cycle will continue until you’re trapped everywhere for the day.

Tip #7. Resource Management is Key!

A judicious use of your resources is the need of the hour in Idle games like AFK Journey. Take the example of Diamonds, the premium currency. Do not waste them by doing single pulls on the All-recruitment banner. Instead, do a 10-pull to save 300 Diamonds. Hoarding is the key to success. 

Particularly if you are not placing highly on the leader boards, be extremely cautious about how you spend your Temporal Essence and Twilight Essence (which are used to upgrade EX weapons). Certain characters only require a specific investment in their Exclusive Weapon (like +5 or +10 or sometimes +0 is enough), and anything above is wasted.
