In this beginner’s guide for Girl Wars, we will be going through the main gameplay systems to ensure players can get the maximum progression in the shortest duration of time. For the sake of efficiency, we will also list out the basic systems that are at play and explain each of them in detail without using jargons of any sort. Players can enjoy a true & authentic Idle gaming experience on their mobile devices with Girl Wars. Let’s start with the guide!

Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics

First things first, the genre of Girl Wars is Idle, which means the entirety of the game is not supposed to be over the top time consuming. The combat system of the game is also designed by taking the same approach in mind. Players can experience a thrilling and strategic 5v5 real-time battle, where the players have little to no control over their heroes. Players are going to only be able to trigger the active skill and ultimate skill of their heroes. The former can be done by simply clicking the portrait of the hero, while the latter is performed by swiping the hero’s portrait in the upward direction. The ultimate abilities are fully animated, and look mesmerizing to watch in action.

Players can also manually target the enemy they want their heroes to focus down first, adding to the strategic element. Further, a full-blown element system is also in place wherein each hero is given a specific element. Elements are stronger and weaker to each other, and act like Rock-Paper-Scissors in theory. Each hero also plays a specific role in any team composition. A healthy and balanced team comp will get you far ahead than most of your peers. The roles of Hero’s are as follows:

  • Warrior – These heroes are going to be usually placed in the frontline and they act as a great source of consistent damage. They are blessed with high base Attack, HP, Crit rate, and crit DMG.
  • Defenders – These heroes are going to be usually placed in the frontline and they act as the damage absorbers for the team. Their passive abilities generally allow them to soak a ton of damage and mitigate damage received by enemies in the backline unless AOE-targeted. They are blessed with high base HP, Defense, and Resistance.
  • Ranger – These heroes are going to be usually placed in the backline and they act as either the core DPS of the team or a sub-DPS to support the main damage dealer. Sometimes, rangers also possess healing/supportive abilities. They are blessed with high base Attack, HP, Crit rate, and crit DMG.

Understanding the Summoning System

Girl Wars is a hero collector RPG that makes use of the innate gacha system to reward players with an opportunity to summon different heroes. Each hero is assigned a rarity, much like an Element like we talked about before. Higher the base rarity of the hero, the lower the probability to obtain them. The lower the base rarity of the hero, the higher the probability to obtain them. Unlike other Idle games, players cannot summon a complete hero in 1 go.

Instead, players will summon for shards and items in a mixed gacha banner in Girl Wars. There are multiple different summoning banners that give out shards for featured SSR and SR heroes. Each of these banners also provide a multitude of useful items that can be used to gain tons of resources in advance.

  • EXP – EXP is the core resource when it comes to powering up your heroes. The amount of XP required to level up heroes increases progressively as their level increases. It’s required in abundance at higher level when you have a roster of multiple heroes. Players can get more XP through Idle rewards, quick sweep, in-game events, and quests.
  • Gold – Gold is the primary currency in Girl Wars. It is available in abundance throughout the game. Gold is obtained via completing quests, engaging in in-game activities, participating in events, login rewards, and idle rewards. Gold is used to enhance equipment equipped on your heroes, or to purchase items in the Gold market.
  • Diamond – Diamond is the premium currency of Girl Wars. Diamonds are quite difficult to obtain in a regular manner since they are very scarce in nature. Diamond is primarily obtained from events, pre-registration rewards, quests, and as part of new player event rewards. Diamonds are only used for summoning on different hero banners.

We recommend playing Girl Wars on a PC using BlueStacks with a keyboard and mouse for a 60 FPS Full HD lag-free experience on a bigger screen.
