DHGames most popular game Idle Heroes are back with a bang with an amazing update for August! Idle Heroes is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The new update and its contents can already be seen live in-game as the patch was concluded on 11th August 2023. Let’s get right to the new content that was added to the game with the patch.

Betty – New Hero

Betty is a 5-Star Mage type hero from the Shadow faction. The description for Betty reads as follows – “Betty is similar to a virus, and viruses don’t have entities, therefore we gave her a [host]. The red eyes are evidence of her parasitism. People tried to bind her, but she managed to escape, leaving her body with incomplete shackles and scars from the struggle to free herself.

Because the character’s background is in a mental hospital, she can only choose sharp things within reach as weapons. Sharp bone spurs erupt out of the character’s flesh after being infected with [Betty] to improve the character’s destructive capabilities ——The girl was wearing a lovely little gown and didn’t seem to mind the bloody cut on her body. While smiling distortedly, she attacked everything around her indiscriminately. Such a stark contrast can better capture the bizarre and unsettling nature of the [Betty] virus.” 

Take a look at the all the active and passive abilities of Betty:

Creepy Lunatic (Active Skill)

Active Skill: Deals Attack damage to back-line enemies. If the target’s HP is no less than a certain percentage, additionally [Bleeds] the target, dealing Attack damage for several rounds. If the target’s HP is no more than a certain percentage, deals extra Attack damage, with a chance to [Twine] the target for several rounds. Afterward, deals damage to all [Twined] targets. The damage dealt is equal to certain percentage of their Max. HP (caps at a certain percentage of Betty’s Attack).

Twine: Control effect. Heroes being Twined are unable to release their active skill, basic attack, extra attack, or counterattack.

Invisible Outbreak (Passive Skill)

Increases self Speed, Attack, Crit Damage and Damage Reduction.

Painful Whip (Passive Skill)

Changes the basic attack to: Deals Attack damage to 2 random enemies, with a chance to [Twine] the targets for several rounds. Afterward, there is a chance to [Twine] several enemies not being [Twined] for several rounds.

Price of Insanity (Passive Skill)

When self takes active skills or basic attacks, the attacker will take (a certain percentage of Attack) damage, with a chance to be [Twined] for several rounds. This effect can be triggered up to several times each round. At the end of each round, reduces the Energy of [Twined] targets. For every [Twined] target, increases self Attack for several rounds.

Simply log in to the game and get these rewards in your in-game mailbox. Here are the rewards:

5-Star Hero Double Odds Event

This is going to be your standard double the odds event that comes around with every hero release. Players get 1 point per Heroic summoning scroll used. The higher the points, the more probability increases for summoning Betty and more rewards you earn along the way. Here are the rules being applied to the event:

• For every 100 failed attempts at summoning Betty at Heroic Summoning raises the odds of obtaining Betty.
• The previous 499 failed attempts at summoning Betty at Heroic Summon ensure you the success in the 500th attempt.
• The progress will be zeroed once Betty is summoned before or after the 500th summon.
• The entire process can be repeated up to a maximum of 4 rounds. 

Here is the systematic probability increase:

• For 1-100 Heroic Summons – Base Probability
• For 101-200 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 2
• For 201-300 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 3
• For 301-400 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 4
• For 401-499 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 5
• 500th Heroic Summon – Guaranteed Betty

Summon Prizes Event

One of the most lucrative combinations of events are the Summon Prizes and Double Odds pair of events. The foremost event lets you summon to your heart’s extent and the latter event rewards you with juicy rewards for certain summoning milestones. Players will get the rewards from their in-game mailbox when completing the event.

The milestones and the rewards awarded are as follows –

• Obtain 50 points – Prophet Orb x 3 + Heroic Summon Scroll x 10 
• Obtain 100 points – Prophet Orb x 3 + Heroic Summon Scroll x 10 
• Obtain 200 points – Prophet Orb x 4 + Heroic Summon Scroll x 10 + 5-Star Rogan Fragments x 50 
• Obtain 300 points – Prophet Orb x 5 + Soul Symbol x 5 + Core of Transcendence x 1 
• Obtain 400 points – 5-Star Betty Fragments x 50 
• Obtain 500 points – Glorious Relic x 15 + Core of Transcendence x 1 

Pink Ocean Event

Pink Ocean event starts on 11th august, 2023 and ends on 18th August, 2023. The event allows you to earn Conch Points and rewards you accordingly. Each 1 Heroic Summon you do will net you 1 conch point for the event. Different varieties of rewards are available for different point tiers. 

Here are the rewards you can get at each point level:

• 200 Heroic Summons – Heroic Summon Scrolls x 10
• 300 Heroic Summons – Heroic Summon Scrolls x 10
