Klondike Adventures – All Buildings and their Uses
Klondike Adventures has one of the best story-driven gameplay content out there! Combining elements of city-builders and casual mini-games, Klondike Adventures has recently been recently for mobile devices. Players can closely follow the journey of Paul and Kate and decide on their individual/joint fates as they encounter challenging decisions to be made that impact their future. Klondike Adventures is available as a free-to-play game on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
Klondike Adventures has a ton of gameplay elements that are quite unique to the game itself. One of the best ways to guarantee constant progression is by touching up on basic knowledge pertaining to the game via this beginner’s guide. In this guide, we will offer some tips on how to maximize the use of all the buildings in Klondike Adventures. Each building is unique in their own right, adding onto the playability functions. Some are for resource generating purpose, while others are purely for decorative purpose. Let’s check out all the buildings and their uses.
Apartments
The Apartments are the houses where you can station your builders. Up to 8 Builders can be housed initially. More than 3 Apartments can be built in the Home area. It will cost you approximately 25000 Gold in order to construct a single Apartment. You will require Dry Twigs, Cement, and Stool to construct an apartment. 48 workers are also required in the construction process.
Bakery
The bakery is the building where pastry is made out of crops and dairy products. It also prepares the basic ingredients for pastry: flour and dough.
Barn
Players can melt ice chunks into water and turn crops into animal feed by using the barn as a building. At the start of the game, the player is given a partially constructed barn that has been damaged narratively; this barn is fixed during the tutorial. At experience level 10, it is possible to build one more barn.
Factory
The Factory makes every piece of furniture you’ll need for your home. Tiles, Pipes, Beams, you name it and everything can be made here. The construction does come with a hefty cost as well, so be prepared!
Quarry
The Quarry is a stone-processing unit that converts raw stones into useful construction-oriented materials. Some of the core materials obtained from here are Gravel, Quartz Sand, and Cement. It will take 3500 coins to build the second quarry, and 5000 coins to build the third. The following equipment and raw materials are required: Forty dry twigs, twenty logs of sequoia, thirty logs of fir tree, fifty stones, thirty clay, forty quartz, six fire, six trowels, and three saws. The flowchart below illustrates how these raw materials are put together:
Research Facility
For just a small amount of gold, the research facility generates raw materials made of wood and rock. If a certain resource (ice, for example, or sequoia logs) is unavailable in any of the places the player has explored, this can be very helpful.
There are coins to build a research facility; no building materials are needed. One is available for purchase on the market, but under certain conditions (perhaps through a trade company or as an event reward), another one may be obtained. After 40 to 50 minutes of production, the player must use 30 to 35 energy points to chop down the resource.
Sawmill
Sawmill is another of those industrialized buildings that help process raw materials into usable construction materials. Some of the materials you can get from here include Wood Veneer, Boards, Glue, Beam, and Cardboard.
Trader
The Trader is a red-head guy who offers to buy different items from you. This is all you need to know about him:
- Hides in bushes in certain lands.
- Offers you Energy, Emeralds and Coins in exchange for gems and/or gold.
- Has a special 48h offer that caters to the richest players.
Playing Klondike Adventures on a bigger screen of your PC with BlueStacks without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay, is highly recommended.
