정부가 허가한 우리나라 유일의 불교계 공중파 및 지상파 방송사입니다.
서울 마포 본사를 비롯해 부산, 대구, 광주, 청주, 춘천, 제주 등
전국 주요 도시에 지방사를 두며 광범위한 네트워크망을 구축한
중앙언론사입니다. 2008년 12월부터 TV 방송 송출을 시작했습니다.

BBS, Buddhist Broadcasting System, is a religious, nonprofit, broadcasting organization.
BBS is consisted of a nation-wide network, including the head office in Seoul and 6 local broadcasting stations in Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Cheongju, Chuncheon, and Jeju. Its radio station was created on May 1, 1990, and the TV Station on December 2, in 2008.
