After a long hiatus and starting to be considered a relic, Studio 2PRO is developing a new game specifically for the mobile platform. Had been given the title Wizardry VA with a release target in 2022, finally there has been a new update for the game which has now changed its name to Wizardry Variants Daphne.

As expected, the game was forced to experience delays, but the new target was set not so far away, namely early 2023. There was also a new trailer released to show how the game looked after going through the development process for more than a year. Overall, the game still looks the same, but there are definitely improvements from the visual effects, character design, to a smoother frame rate.

This game still retains many of the classic elements that have been attached to the series, but still brings many changes and new features that further enhance the playing experience.

The 3D dungeon crawler gameplay that is presented looks quite intense, such as how your character has interactions to more expressive animation, especially when faced with enemies who can brutally kill you and your teammates.
