• Change Device Profiles

Be Ready for Any Game, Whatever the Android Device.

Some Android games run only on exclusive phones. If your current mobile phone is not compatible with the android game you want to play, you will not be able to download it from the Google Play store. Also, many games are designed to work smoother only on certain devices – just a technical requirement. With BlueStacks, you experience the thrill of playing such ‘device-exclusive’ games or games that perform better on a device, by manually or automatically switching the current device profile on our platform.

    • Changing your device profile is easy.

      • Open settings (click on the icon on the bottom left of the sidebar or CTRL+Shift+I)

      • Go to 'Advanced'

      • Change Device Profile

  • Disk Cleanup

    Maximum Storage. Maximum Performance.

When you uninstall a game or remove apps from BlueStacks on your PC, the disk space may still be unavailable to be reused by Windows. A high consumption of disk space or having your hard drive full can lead to your PC’s slow performance. With the ‘Disk Cleanup Utility’ feature, it is easy to free up disk space earlier consumed by BlueStacks. This helps you maximize your PC’s storage space and improve its performance.

There are three ways to Run Disk Cleanup Utility.

    • Method 1: From the BlueStacks Settings

      • Open settings (click on the icon on the bottom left of the sidebar or CTRL+Shift+I)

      • Go to ‘User Data’

      • Click on ‘Free up Space’ and ‘Continue’

      • Wait for a few minutes, BlueStacks will launch automatically

    • Method 2: Clean up each stopped instance of BlueStacks

      • Open the Multi-Instance Manager

      • Click on the disk cleanup icon (rightmost) for the stopped instance

      • Click on ‘Continue’ in the Disk Clean popup

      • Wait for a few minutes, BlueStacks will launch automatically

    • Method 3: Using Windows Run Prompt

      • Press 'Windows + R' on your PC

      • Type 'C:/Program Files/BlueStacks/DiskCompactiontool.exe' in the search box

      • Click on 'Continue' to start disk cleanup

      • Once done, click on 'Launch' to start BlueStacks
