Speaker 1:
Okay, so how should you go about reaching out to your moderators, communicating to your moderators? What is the best route to take when you’re in the middle of a livestream or when you’re offstream? I’ll talk like this.

Mid-livestream, if you have something you want to check in the middle of your stream the best way to communicate with your mods is to just straight up call them out. They should feel very comfortable with having to create, let’s just say commands on the fly, checking things in a chat that you want addressed right away.

This is their job as a moderator, and they have to understand that that is their role that they’re taking on when they decide to become that overwatching your chat. This is the role that they signed up for when they decided to become your moderator. It’s important for you to be able to reach out to them, just right then and there, put them in the hot seat, make sure they can handle the pressure.

You’re not going to ask for anything super crazy, it’s usually just things like checking for commands or creating stuff on the fly that can be beneficial to you. They should have your back, they should be able to support you on the fly.

Also make sure you have a Twitter, and Instagram, a private content profile set up. You don’t really want to mingle too closely to personal versus business. Make a special email where people can reach out to you and contact you, that way you can look just a little more organized, present yourself a little better, and open up more opportunities for yourself.

When someone comes across your page and they’re looking for that gaming content, just make sure that Twitter profile that you start is just going to be all that. You just really magnetize everything towards it, it’ll work much better for you. People that are coming there will see a glimpse of what you’re like and it’s definitely a huge source of traffic. Do not sleep on the Twitter, the Facebook, the Instagram.

People that like and share these profiles of yours can potentially open up new audience, new opportunities, new businesses that’ll come reaching for you, finding you, and potentially just liking what it is you have to offer.
