The setup is a world still bruised from a big Energi War, and the lead is Alfonso, an energi clone who starts questioning what he is even fighting for. The pixel art is clean and cozy, music has that throwback charm, and the whole thing moves at a steady, easy pace without feeling empty.

Combat is straight turn based, but it is not sleepy. SP skills can turn fights around once players plan their timing, and the new Array system plus the Energi Crock gives a toolbox for tweaking builds and roles. There is some light tinkering with Energi Elements to trade and slot in, so party setup actually matters more than just bigger numbers.
