If you’re a fan of classic old-school MMORPGs, then Dragon Nest: Rebirth of Legend should be right up your alley! For those unaware, the Dragon Nest franchise which started on the PC platform has now branched off to mobile devices. Rebirth of Legend is an officially recognized Dragon Nest IP game that features various PvE and PvP game modes for players to enjoy. PvP fanatics can especially test their metal and merit in long-lasting arena fights that can be started either in a 1v1 fashion or in a team vs team setup. Let’s learn a bit more about the PvP aspects of the game in detail!
PvP Game Modes in Dragon Nest: Rebirth of Legend
To put it gently, Dragon Nest: Rebirth of Legend is not exactly huge with PvP game modes. Yes, the game allows players to duel out between themselves but you don’t necessarily need to do it in a PvP setup. Players can simply challenge their friends to a friendly duel if they want to. The core PvP game mode in Dragon Nest: Rebirth of Legend is the Arena. Arena unlocks after the player reaches account level 14. Arena comes in 2 types – Normal, and Fair Play mode. Both the game modes are open for a specific duration of time, and this is called the “Arena season”.
Players can only participate in these game modes solo. There is no scope of team play or even duo in these modes. The core difference between Fair Play mode and Normal mode is that the former adjusts any stat differences between the 2 matched players. This allows for more fair play, as the name suggests. In the normal mode, both players use the setup that they have, and this can cause some struggles as naturally someone is bound to be stronger/weaker than the other. Both the game modes have a separate ranking leader board and players can get rewards depending on how high they rank on the leaderboard.
All Rankings and Rewards
Much like any other PvP game mode, the Arena in Dragon Nest: Rebirth of Legend also features a set of rankings that players need to climb. These rankings determine the outcome of your perils in the regular season, and you will get rewards according to your final rank achieved in the season. Now, just to be clear, both the fair play mode and normal mode have separate rankings and leader boards but the ranks are the same. Hence, you can earn rewards from both the leader boards but you will need to play both as well. Let’s take a look at the ranks and the rewards offered:
- Bronze 1 (1500 Points) – Arena Points x 1225, Copper Coin x 20000, Dragon Coin x 50, Buff Potion Pack x 5.
- Silver 1 (1800 Points) – Arena Points x 2450 Copper Coin x 32000, Dragon Coin x 70, Buff Potion Pack x 7.
- Gold 1 (2100 Points) – Arena Points x 4900, Copper Coin x 50000, Dragon Coin x 100, Buff Potion Pack x 10.
- Platinum 1 (2400 Points) – Arena Points x 7350, Copper Coin x 80000, Dragon Coin x 200, Buff Potion Pack x 15, Minotaur Avatar Frame x 1.
- Diamond 1 (2700 Points) – Arena Points x 8575, Copper Coin x 100000, Dragon Coin x 300, Buff Potion Pack x 20, Minotaur Avatar x 1.
Arena Points and Arena Shop
No matter which game mode you play in the Arena, both will fetch you Arena points as the main reward. You will get arena points for victory and defeat both, but of course the former will fetch you more compared to the latter. Arena points are the core bread and butter resource in the Arena section as it allows you to access the Arena Shop. This shop is available 24×7 and allows players to get juicy items, albeit at a price.
Players can further get Fair Ladder Points and Ladder Points from the Fair Ladder mode and Normal mode, respectively. These 2 types of points are also used in their respective shops such as the Fair Ladder Point Shop, and Ladder Point Shop. All the 3 shops are accessible by any player and the items sold there are regularly updated and re-stocked.
Players can enjoy playing Dragon Nest: Rebirth of Legend on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
