Epic Seven, the live 2D turn-based RPG has recently completed its 4th Year Anniversary and announced its official roadmap for the rest of 2022 and the beginning of 2023. Developed and published by Smilegate, the game has received positive reviews over the years, maintaining a strong rating of 4.6 and 4.4 on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store respectively. One of the premier go-to choice recommendations for any player looking for a new turn-based, Epic Seven has everything a gamer might be interested in – stunning visuals, mesmerizing 60 FPS animations, tons of content, strategic tact-based combat, and lots of heroes to collect. Epic Seven is available as a free-to-play title supporting in-game microtransactions on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Further, the game is expanding its IP (Intellectual Property) to make books, visual novels, merchandise, and even anime in plans.
Epic Seven has one of the easiest-to-learn battle systems that occur on a turn-by-turn basis where every hero on the battlefield takes their turn according to their Speed stat. Players can create a formation of 4 different heroes and take them into battles. Apart from the graphical animations and high-intensity skills, Epic Seven also has one of the largest amount of Quality-of-Life features. Players have the option of auto-battling, auto-repeat battling, auto-selling gears and artifacts, and auto-refreshing energy if running low on energy. Now, Epic Seven is a hero-collector title that makes use of the gacha mechanics in order to give players a chance of summoning their favorite heroes. By summoning only can players collect some of the best heroes in the game. Different heroes in the game are available to be summoned at differing probabilities according to their base rarity. The probabilities are as follows:
- 5-Star Characters – 1% Probability of being summoned
- 4-Star Characters – 4.5% Probability of being summoned
- 3-Star Characters – 41.5% Probability of being summoned
In this tier list for Epic Seven, we will be ranking some of the strongest heroes available to be collected in-game. The tier list will be divided into multiple sub-sections, each represented by a tier. The S tier will contain some of the best heroes while the B tier contains average/bad heroes that are not recommended to use. This tier list will be taking into account multiple factors that arise when ranking heroes. Firstly, we will choose heroes that are good in both PvE and PvP content to suit the needs of all players. Secondly, we will also be taking into account the different skills and abilities provided by the hero on the battlefield. Lastly, we will also be taking into account the raw base stats of any hero as stats are king in games like Epic Seven. Naturally, expect the 5-Star heroes to be ranked at the top of the tier list. We recommend players choose the heroes they like, taking inspiration from this tier list.
