With over 70+ collectible characters, called “Sinners” in the official in-game terminology, Path to Nowhere is a great combination of unique art style ad tactical gameplay. Boasting the tactical nature of tower-defense RPG’s and a Lovecraftian horror stylized background theme to go along, Path to Nowhere has already been downloaded over 1 million times. Players can make their accounts now to collect some juicy pre-registration rewards among the likes of 20 summoning warrant tickets and a skin for A ranked Sinner Hecate. Path to Nowhere is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

Path to Nowhere – Tips and Tricks for Fast Progression

Path to Nowhere is a tower-defense RPG where players are required to deploy their collected Sinners in battles where they have little to no control over their movement. The Sinners automatically start attacking the enemies when in attack range or contact of them, depending if the Sinner themselves is a ranged or melee type character. Making use of the gachapon mechanics to obtain these Sinners, Path to Nowhere is a mixed bag of goodies where some people will like the gameplay but might get frustrated at the lootbag mechanics associated with the randomness of the gacha system. Do not worry as a pity system is also in place for players who are extremely unlucky and unable to pull the highest rarity Sinners.

In this article for Path to Nowhere, we will be listing some of our personally curated tips and tricks to make faster and efficient progression. Due to the game’s limiting nature, some of the tips might still be something which the players are unaware of. Path to Nowhere is still very fresh in the market, being only 4 days old at the time of writing. A lot of strategies and tactical arrangements are yet to be seen as players progress further and unlock harder content available in the game. Path to Nowhere – Tips and Tricks for Fast Progression

Tip #1. Making Your Sinners Stronger

Path to Nowhere is a strategical game that helms tact over any other mechanics. A true RPG in the form of free-to-player friendliness as promised by the developers AISNO Games. Although such notions are rewarded for players who have the time to delve deep and create new formations, the majority of gamers do not want to innovate consistently for every stage. Hence, we recommend players to simply make sure that they are constantly empowering their owned sinners and deploying only their strongest sinners on the battlefield at any stage. Regardless of the stage structure or enemy types, deploying your strongest sinners in terms of raw stats and power levels seems to have the best chance of beating that stage. Especially in the early game when the stage has mediocre enemies and the player doesn’t have a huge roster of collected Sinners to work with. Of course, if the stage itself has some winning conditions, then you must adhere to them in order to get some extra resources such as premium currency which is offered when you 3-Star any stage.

Path to Nowhere – Tips and Tricks for Fast Progression

Players can refer to a beginners guide for Path to Nowhere where we have listed some of the best methods to enhance your sinners in-depth. Here is a short overview of all the methods mentioned:

  • Levelling Up: Increasing the levels of your sinners which in turn increases their base stats.
  • Shackle: Unlocking the hidden limits of your sinners by feeding their duplicates into them. This gives them additional skills and base stats as well.
  • Skill Up: Increases the damage multipliers or cooldown duration of your skills. Best way to maximize your sinner’s capability.
  • Promotion: Increasing the level cap of your sinners. This, in turn, also provides them with additional stats and unlocks new skills. A very time-consuming but rewarding process.

Tip #2. Using Skills and Abilities at the Right Moment

Many of us might neglect the fact that Path to Nowhere lacks a lot of manual interaction but it’s true. We cannot move our sinners directly or change their direction of attack. We cannot control their basic attacks. But those are just the limitations of tower defense games. In fact, Path to Nowhere offers a lot more manual interaction with your collected sinners than games like Arknights where once deployed, the character cannot be moved at all. Attacking the enemies at the right time, such as when they are in a weakened state is the most powerful way to clear them easily.

Of course, the AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not capable enough to do so. Players need to manually time the active skills of their sinners when the enemies are in a weakened state or when an enemy is creating a lot of nuisances at a particular area. Players can move their sinners’ multiple times per battle, so make sure to make the most out of that.

Tip #3. Blocking Enemies to Protect Weak Allies

Blocking might be one of the best and most widely used strategies in Tower defense games such as Path to Nowhere. The base premise of this strategy is that players block the enemies before they group together in a cluster and wreak havoc on their sinners. Every battle stage, especially the harder difficulty one’s has a critical point that reaches when multiple enemies walk in the same direction where you have a smaller number of allies present. However, Path to Nowhere has a unique system of moving your sinners to anywhere during the battles which makes these critical times easy to counter. To block enemies efficiently, simply place the highest number of melee ranged sinners in front of them so that they can stop them right in their tracks.

Pairing these melee ranged sinners with a ranged sinner with healing capabilities for extra surviving capability is highly recommended. A ranged DPS sinner is also mandatory to be placed at the centremost area of the map or at least to a position near the cluster of enemies. If the enemies are spread out and come from different directions, simply place 2 Sinners in one lane to block the majority of them and clear them faster. Once cleared from the particular lane, just switch them back to the other lane where enemies are putting pressure. Hence, by rotating a number of your sinners, you can counter the pressure on different lanes.

Tip #4. Do Not Summon on the Beginner Banner Instantly

One of the biggest mistakes that many players will be making is to summon instantly on the S grade guaranteed sinner beginner banner that is made available to all players once they finish the tutorial. This is simply due to the fact that this banner is permanent and does not need to be used as soon as possible. In fact, we recommend players to instead spend their summoning currency on the currently ongoing Zoya banner as she is one of the best sinners in the game as of global launch.
