Resonance Solstice comes as a fresh breath of air in the crowded mobile gacha market. Unlike many RPGs that have been released this year, this game brings fresh train simulation mechanics combined with a unique trading system that encourages players to “earn” their profits. At the heart of every combat scenario lies your team of trusted companions. As the conductor, it is your duty to train them, and enhance their combat power for difficult situations. In this guide, we will be exploring all the different methods via which you can increase the strength of your characters. Let’s dive right in!

Levelling Up your Characters in Resonance Solstice

This method is one of the easiest and most straight-forward out of all. It simply relies on your conductor level being high enough. To do so, you will need to play the game for a longer duration of time. This is because the maximum level your characters can reach is directly co-related to the current level of your account. Hence, if your account level is 10, your characters can also only be upgraded till Level 10. The best way to increase this level is by expending more stamina, and completing the different main quests.

Players can increase the level of their characters by simply feeding them xp materials of differing rarities. The higher the rarity of the xp material, the more xp they will grant towards your character. Each level up enhances the character’s base stats such as attack, defense, and HP.

Awakening Characters in Resonance Solstice

In Resonance Solstice, the character’s awakening is defined by the amount of stars they currently have. Each character starts at 1-star but can go up to 5-stars at max awakening. This process directly increases base stats and also gives certain ability cards of the character additional effects. Sadly, the awakening process is quite costly, as it requires players to use duplicates of the character they want to enhance. Hence, it gets progressively difficult to awaken SSR characters as acquiring their dupes is a long process. Even so, it is a great way to increase power and efficiency of your characters in the long-run.

Activating Resonance of Characters

The resonance mechanic in Resonance Solstice is quite similar to “talents” or “potential” we see in other games. In brief, it is a system via which you can enhance not only the character stats but also increase the damage output of skill cards. Some resonance tiers can also enhance or add effects to certain ability cards. There are several nodes of resonances, each of which can be activated with different currencies. Consider them like designing your character from scratch.

The best part? This method is easily doable even for free-to-play players. You will need coins, digital thinking, and primitive thinking currencies to enhance the resonance of any character. Depending on the node of resonance you want to activate, the cost of these currencies scale accordingly.

Equipment and their Importance in Resonance Solstice

The equipment system of Resonance Solstice is quite simple to understand as it doesn’t have much depth or components to it. To put it simply, you can equip each character with 3 types of equipment – Weapon, Armor, and Accessories. A weapon will always provide you with attack as the main stat. An armor will always provide you with defense as the main stat. Lastly, an accessory will always provide you with HP as the main stat.

Next, equipment comes in different rarities, and can have different effects as sub-stats. Higher the rarity of the equipment, higher the number of base stats it starts off with. Else, they will gain additional sub-stats upon being upgraded. That’s right, you can enhance your equipment with a currency called “Nebula matter”, or you can also use other equipment.

Players can enjoy playing Resonance Solstice on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
