For the past few weeks, players were presented with various leaks of Rhapsody, the first mobile-exclusive legend to be released in Apex Legends Mobile. Electronic Arts, have confirmed the release of the new legend Rhapsody aka DJ, through their recently launched trailer.

Rhapsody is a mobile-exclusive legend which means it isn’t available in the PC and Console counterparts of the character-based battle royale title. This legend is said to make her first debut in Season 2 of Apex Legends Mobile. Rhapsody is a DJ who comes with an AI robot named “Rowdy.” Like the other legends in Apex Legends Mobile, Rhapsody also features her backstory.

The lore of Rhapsody, the rhythm-loving DJ

Rhapsody origins in Kómma, the place where an evil tech company named Pythas Inc. controls everything. She is seen in the nightlife district of Neon Dunes, fighting in the game with her deadly companion bot Rowdy. Rowdy was created by Rhapsody’s mother, an intelligent AI engineer. She used to work at Pythas Inc. before getting fired from the company because she knew the company’s nasty secrets. The new legend now fights in Apex Legends to free her mother from the corrupt enterprise.

Rhapsody Global Release in Apex Legends Mobile

The new legend Rhapsody is said to be released in Apex Legends Mobile in Season 2, known as Distortion, on 12th July 2022. Players worldwide are excited about the release of the new legend and how it will affect the ranked matches and help the players get their desired Apex Legends Champion title.
