RAID: Shadow Legends continues to be one of the forerunners in collaborating with well-known IPs worldwide. Known for their immense graphics and aggressive advertising, Plarium continues to push for greater heights with new collaborations. This time, the Monster Hunter franchise has established a grand collaboration with RAID: Shadow Legends, paving the way for new champions to come to the game. RAID: Shadow Legends can be downloaded as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

Festivities are called for, as the collaboration runs rampant from 9th January 2024 till 5th March 2024. New thematic events and tournaments are also lined up for players to engage with and reap generous rewards. Champions from the Monster Hunter universe are scheduled to make a grand entry. These champions are specially designed to harbor the Monster Hunter ideology and theme. Plarium has announced that the collaboration will include 5 exclusive legendary champions for players to collect and use. These champions will be available to summon and collect via different in-game activities. Let’s check everything new coming to the 3D turn-based RPG via this collaboration.

New Monster Hunter Themed Champions Enter Teleria

A total of 5 new champions have been added to the game post update as part of the Monster Hunter celebration. These champions are meticulously designed to give an aura of fearless hunters looking for their next prey. Each of them is given a signature weapon from the Monster Hunter franchise. Here is a complete list of the champions:

• Rathalos Blademaster

• Zinogre Blademaster

• R. Nergigante Archer

• Alatreon Blademaster

• Fatalis Blademaster

The best part? They are all legendary grade! This leaves no room for doubt that their skill sets and base stats will be phenomenal. To add onto the festivities, Plarium has mentioned that they will be giving away a free copy of Rathalos Blademaster as part of a login reward event. This event will start from 9th January 2024, and end on 5th March, 2024. Players only need to login for 7 days between the time period to get their hands on the coveted legendary force affinity champion! A slew of free 6-star legendary gear will also be distributed on the rest of the days, enabling new players to gear up their newly attained Rathalos Blademaster in style.

Zinogre Blademaster is available via a fragment fusion event that spans in between January 2024. The remainder of 3 champions will be available via in-game activities and events. Players will likely need to summon for them via shard-based events and tournaments.

Rathalos Blademaster – Active and Passive Abilities

Rathalos Blademaster is a Legendary grade Force affinity Attack-based champion from the Barbarians Faction. Here is a list of Rathalos Blademaster’s skills: –

Spirit Thrust (Active)

Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. If the target is a Boss, this debuff cannot be resisted.

Level 1: Damage +10%

Level 2: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%

Level 3: Damage +10%

Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%

Spirit Step Slash (Active)

Attacks 1 enemy. Every second use of this skill in a Round will attack all enemies instead. Will also ignore 25% of the target’s DEF. If the target is a Boss, will ignore 100% of the target’s DEF.

Level 1: Damage +5%

Level 2: Damage +5%

Level 3: Damage +10%

Level 4: Cooldown -1

Overhead Slash (Active)

Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, places a 30% [Increase C. DMG] buff and a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

Level 1: Damage +5%

Level 2: Damage +5%

Level 3: Damage +10%

Level 4: Cooldown -1

Rathalos Mastery (Passive)

Inflicts 50% more damage against targets under [HP Burn] debuffs. Receives 25% less damage from enemies under [HP Burn] debuffs. Every fifth skill used by this Champion deals 200% more damage.

Increases Ally ATK in Dungeons by 30%
