What is the Influencer Tournament Beta Event?

The upcoming tournament event in the Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross will specifically allow only influencers to be the participants. This is because the tournament is still in the beta phase. The idea is to allow the participants to experience new content before any other players. It will be fair to say that for the influencers, streaming this unreleased tournament content will be a great way to gain new followers quickly. All the participants could also promote these streams to gain more exposure for their own channels. We think that this is good on Netmarble’s part because this way they can help expand the player base for their game while promoting small and big influencers alike.

Each of the two servers (Global and Asia) will have their own tournaments, both of them will have eight contestants each. Although regular players can not participate in the event, they have an option to support one of the influencers to receive rewards and benefits.

How can you participate in it?

To participate in the tournament event, follow the steps below:

  • The application form is available at this link. Go to the page and read the disclaimer.
  • You need to be 18 years old or older to be eligible for the event.
  • You can only participate if your channel can maintain a viewership of at least 5,000 YouTube subscribers.
  • Obviously, you need to be a fan of the game if you want to participate in the event. A participant that is a fan will probably be chosen over a participant who does not know what the game is about.
  • You also need to agree to the terms and conditions of this event. This will also allow Netmarble to use any and all livestream footage of the tournament in their marketing campaigns, their channels, and/or their website.
  • The application form will ask you for your details like your player name, friend code, the server you play in, the main team combat class, the URL of your YouTube Channel, subscriber count of your channel, preferred timing for the tournament in your server, and personal details.

How can non-participants enjoy the tournament?

Well, besides enjoying the livestream tournament footage of amazing games between top influencers, there is a way regular players can benefit from the tournament without participating in it. Here is how you do that:

  • In the game’s main menu, open the tournament section.
  • You will see a list of the players that will be participating in the tournament event.
  • Choose one of the contestants to support them in the tournament. Be careful while doing so as you can not change your selection once you have made it.
  • The rewards and benefits that you and the contestant you have chosen will receive will depend on their performance in the event. This means that the higher the contestant ends up on the scoreboard, the more rewards you will receive for supporting them.

So, what are these rewards we keep talking about?

Netmarble has also released a list of rewards that they will be granting to the participants of the tournament and also to the players that support them.

All the players that use the support feature in-game to show support for an influencer participating in the tournament event will be given a ‘Secret Box’. The event team claims that the ‘Secret Box’ will contain gifts that have never been seen before in the game. Besides this, they have also announced that they will be conducting a social media event in which the winner of the event will be gifted 100 diamonds in the game.

The rewards will be given to the contestants and players after the tournament event concludes. The delivery of the zip-up hoodies might be delayed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

BlueStacks can give you the edge to win in 7DS

Rerolling in the Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is a common tactic that players use to end up with good summons from the start of their journey. However, it can take a lot of time for you to actually end up with the characters you want. You could skip the cutscenes that explain the story of the anime to save time but there is an even better way to do that with BlueStacks. Tools like the Instance Manager and the Multi-Instance Sync features are exclusive to the players that play the Seven Deadly Sins on PC with BlueStacks.

You can use the Instance Manager to create several BlueStacks Instances. This way you can access the same game on multiple Google accounts and play on each of them individually. Rerolling with a single account, with each pull you can summon 11 characters. But when you play on multiple accounts, you can summon the number of accounts times 11 characters per pull which makes rerolling much easier. There is only a 3% chance that you will be able to pull an SSR character but with these many summonings at once, the odds will be in your favor.

Still, the effort you put in to manage all these instances at a time can be tedious. Here is where the Multi-Instance Sync feature will come in handy. When using this feature, you just have to play on your main instance. While you do that, BlueStacks will mimic your actions in all of the other instances. When rerolling in this game, you need to start a new game on every instance and activate the sync tool. All the other accounts will catch up by the time you reach the initial summoning.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is one of those games which require a lot of time to get a good collection of characters because of the type of game it is. BlueStacks helps you get past the issues of time and effort to get better at the game. Obviously, these features will not be very useful in the tournament event for the influencers. Although the players can make use of the ‘Macro Recorder’ feature to bind certain actions to a key. This will end up saying a lot of time because you will not be doing tedious actions again and again.

Details of upcoming events and social media competitions will be posted soon after their release, be sure to stay tuned to the blogpost.
