From the innovators and creators at Island.std, Amazing World of Ted is another fun addition to the World of Adventure games. Go beyond your mobile screen and play it bigger and better on your PC or Mac. An immersive experience awaits you.
Amazing World of Ted is one of those platformers where you’re guiding this hero (Ted, of course) on a rescue mission. The story’s classic — a princess has been taken away by some evil ghost, and Ted’s not about to let that slide. You spend most of the time running and jumping through a variety of levels that throw pretty much everything at you: moving platforms, tricky jumps, the usual swarm of weird creatures like bees and giant snails, stuff like that. Sometimes you’re in a jungle, sometimes you’re in a spooky castle — each spot has its own look, so things don’t really get old.
It has over a hundred levels, so there’s plenty to get through. What stands out is how straightforward the controls feel, even when you’re playing on PC with BlueStacks rather than on a phone. The classic move-and-jump combo is super familiar, and there are power-ups to grab by breaking blocks — things like bullets or these tennis balls that help take down enemies. You run into all sorts of bad guys, from snakes and spiders to a massive King Kong enemy, and half the fun is figuring out how to beat them, whether that’s jumping on top of them or using some item you just picked up. There’s a bit of that nostalgic, old-school platforming feel, with bright visuals and a lot going on in each stage. Coins and hidden bonuses are tucked everywhere, and there’s always that pull to rush ahead but also take time and poke around for what’s hidden. If you like platformers, especially ones that remind you of retro stuff but still play smooth, this game does a good job scratching that itch.
Get ready for a buttery smooth, high-performance gaming action only on BlueStacks.
