iRig Recorder 3 comes off like a real field recorder, not a toy, but it does not feel fussy. The main screen is clean, big record button at the bottom, tap and it rolls. Want video instead of audio, hit the little camera icon and keep going. There is live monitoring, and if an iRig mic or interface is plugged in, it switches to stereo without any menu hunting.
