Get freedom from your phone’s obvious limitations. Use Xerox® Workplace, made by Xerox Corporation, a Productivity app on your PC or Mac with BlueStacks, and level up your experience.
Xerox Workplace feels like a simple remote control for printing and scanning that sits on the phone, but it works fine on a PC through BlueStacks too. The app connects to a Xerox multifunction printer without drama, either by scanning a little QR code on the device or tapping with NFC, then it lets a user open files, preview them, and pick the usual settings like duplex, color or black and white, stapling, paper size, and page range. There is a Secure Print pin for direct jobs if someone needs that. It also grabs files from places like cloud drives and can even snap a quick photo and print it. Scanning goes the other way around, straight from the printer back into the app, which is handy when there is no USB stick around.
Where it gets better is when the company has the Workplace Cloud or Suite set up. Then users sign in, unlock supported printers with the phone instead of a card, and send jobs to a single secure queue to release later at any licensed printer. It supports a bunch of file types like Office docs, PDFs, emails, text, and images, and it can see non Xerox printers on the network too, like HP, Ricoh, Epson, or Canon. GPS can help find available printers, and there is a quick view of device status and all waiting jobs. On BlueStacks, the bigger screen makes picking options less fiddly, and drag and drop from the desktop into the app feels natural. Just know some features depend on how the admin configured things, and a company code is needed to log in before the good stuff unlocks.
