Infinite Flight Simulator brings the Simulation genre to life, and throws up exciting challenges for gamers. Developed by Infinite Flight LLC, this Android game is best experienced on BlueStacks, the World’s #1 app player for PC and Mac users.
Infinite Flight feels like a real flight sim that just happens to be on a phone, with the kind of depth you would expect on PC. You pick from airliners, small GA planes, even a few military types, then set the time of day, weather, and weight so the plane handles how it should. Airports have proper runway and taxiway layouts, and more full 3D airports keep showing up. The world uses high resolution satellite imagery, so cruising above the coast or over mountains actually looks like those places. Real navigation data is in there too, so you plan routes with SIDs, STARs, and NAVAIDs that match the charts from NavBlue. Autopilot covers the important stuff, including NAV to follow your plan and autoland on supported jets. Start the engines, shut them down, watch wing flex and suspension move, then use the replay to check that landing you thought was butter. Atmospherics are nice as well, sun, moon, stars, clouds, and that low fog that makes dawn departures feel calm.
On PC through BlueStacks, the bigger screen and mouse clicks make cockpit knobs and camera views easier, and the frame rate feels steadier if the computer is decent. The base game includes regions and planes to learn on. Infinite Flight Pro opens the entire globe with live weather and winds aloft, all aircraft, and busy multiplayer where other pilots fly and trained players run ATC. There is a learning curve, but ILS, the flight planner, and sensible controls help a lot. It does need an internet connection for most of it.
