Get freedom from your phone’s obvious limitations. Use Servers Ultimate, made by Ice Cold Apps, a Tools app on your PC or Mac with BlueStacks, and level up your experience.
Servers Ultimate feels like a pocket lab for servers, only without the rack noise. It lets a person spin up a bunch of different servers on one device, from a plain web server or PHP to FTP, SFTP, SSH, MySQL, Nginx, DNS, DHCP, MQTT, RTMP, TFTP, PXE, WebDAV, SMB, even an XMPP chat server. There is a Simple tab that starts things with a couple taps, and an Advanced side where a user can set allowed IPs, users, ports, network interfaces, backlog, logging to files, and more. Multiple servers can run at once and most do not need root, which keeps it friendly for tinkering. On a PC through BlueStacks, the bigger screen and keyboard make editing configs and watching logs way easier, like having a small control room.
It packs extras that homelab folks actually use, not fluff. Over 60 servers available, plus about 18 handy network tools such as a port scanner, whois, traceroute, ping, DNS and IP lookups, UPnP port mapper, WOL, HTTP header inspector, raw sockets, a MySQL monitor, key generator, and a simple command line. There is remote control support, and servers can start or stop based on WiFi, SMS, calls, power events, or cron style rules. Settings can be encrypted, Tasker and Llama hooks are there, and a widget can park controls on the home screen. It can act like a tiny NAS, a dedicated service box, or even a honeypot for testing.
There are some caveats. The VNC server does not work on most devices. Some features want root, like the port forwarder, VNC, VPN, and SMB native. On ARM hardware certain pieces are limited, for example Caddy, VPN, port forward, MySQL monitor, Nginx, traceroute. SMS permission is only for start and stop rules, and coarse location ties to the WiFi selector tool. The trial runs for 7 days and allows adding two servers, so it is enough to see if the toolbox fits the job before going paid.
Big screen. Bigger performance. Use BlueStacks on your PC or Mac to run your favorite apps.
