The gameplay mechanics of Biu Man are probably the simplest we have seen in recent times. You can quite literally play the game with one-hand and still clear most of the levels. This is because the combat is highly automated and players are required to only control the movement of their character. The combat takes place in a portrait orientation wherein your character is located at the centre of the screen. Depending on the level you are undertaking, the damage and HP of enemy monster’s scale accordingly.
You will be facing a ton of enemies that spawn consistently all the time. Killing these enemies grants you experience which further levels up your character’s level in-game. Yes, the in-game level is different from the account level. In each stage, your character starts at Level 1 but can go higher as you defeat more enemies and collect more experience. Each level will culminate with a challenging boss fight, and if you manage to defeat them, the level will be cleared. All about Upgrades in Biu Man
Like we mentioned before, players need to level up their character by engaging in shootouts with the enemies. Your character will automatically shoot missiles or any other upgrades they have when an enemy will be in range. Keep in mind, you will find enemies almost everywhere on the map. When you kill an enemy, they will drop some experience that counts towards your yellow bar, also known as “level” bar. When this bar gets full, players will trigger a level up. Each level up gives the player a choice of selecting 1 out of 3 given upgrades. These upgrades are like additional weapons or powers that can be used to defeat even more enemies faster. Upgrades can come in different star levels, representing their overall value.
Each upgrade is unique and allows you to increase the overall damage dealt by your character. There is also a mechanic in the game wherein you can watch an advertisement to instantly get the max level version of the upgrade instead of the 1-star version. Each upgrade is tailored to a different playstyle, and the game allows for in-depth customization and combos. Sadly, the upgrades come randomly and are not fixed, so you cannot set up a proper game plan for each stage.
