Understanding the Gameplay Flow of Legend of Elements
At the core, Legend of Elements is an Idle stylized RPG wherein players need to complete quests, grow their character, and empower their overall team setup. The game boasts a multitude of PvE and PvP oriented game modes, each being distinct from the other. There are a ton of resources in the game, each useful for doing specific tasks. The progress in the game is measured by how far you have levelled up your account, how much CP (combat power) you have accumulated, and how far your character has been upgraded. We will be discussing all these factors in detail later down the guide.
The Questing System of Legend of Elements
In Legend of Elements, players follow a set of quests called as “main quests”. These quests are highlighted in blue color, and can be seen at the bottom of the portrait screen. Players can simply click on them, and the game will automatically take them towards the questing area where the task needs to be carried. All of the main quests are numbered, starting from 1 all the way down to whatever lies at the end. Each quest gives you specific amount of rewards.
Majority of the quests are mundane and simple, with some eventually turning out to be different. You will get the gist of them once you start taking up more quests. At the time of global launch, these quests are the best way to level up your account and progress farther down the game. It’s crucial to complete them as they are also the best way to gain experience and resources in the early game. Also, majority of the content is locked behind completing these quests.
Understanding the Gearing Mechanics of Legend of Elements
The gearing mechanics of Legend of Elements are quite easy to understand and master. Once you get the gist of it, you will forget all other gearing systems previously seen in similar Idle games. For starters, you access the gearing menu from the bottom left-hand side by clicking on the armor icon. This will open up the gearing menu. Your character has 9 slots of regular gear, and 6 slots of class-exclusive gear. All gear in the game can be obtained by simply wishing for it by clicking on the cute dinosaur located in the middle of the menu.
Players can queue up to 20 gear pieces to craft, and each craft attempt consumes 2 gear crystals. These crystals are obtained from different avenues in the game. Your dinosaur can be morphed or evolved to give you better rates of obtaining higher tier equipment. Once you have superior gear in your inventory, you can simply choose to replace existing gear. Your useless pieces of gear can be salvaged to gain additional currency.
Spirits and the Summoning System of Legend of Elements
Spirits are like the collectible pets or monsters seen in similar Idle RPGs. In Legend of Elements, players can deploy up to 3 different spirits in their team from the Line-up menu. These spirits have access to their own active and passive skills, and can also be powered up to increase their value. Spirits are primarily obtained via summoning from the game’s gacha system.
This system unlocks fairly later on when you reach Main quest# 70. You can access the “Spirit Summon” system from the Manor. Spirits come in 2 different rarities, and the probability to obtain them are as follows:
- SSR (Legendary) Spirits – 12% for complete spirit, and 18% for Shards
- SR (Epic) Spirits – 70% for Shards
Classes and Skills Explained
In Legend of Elements, players need to make a choice right at the beginning of their journey – choosing a class. The reason this choice is not very important is because you can choose to switch your class even after choosing one at the start. Hence, you are not class-locked. The classes are as follows:
- Warrior – Melee-ranged damage dealer.
- Sorcerer – Long-ranged damage dealer that uses arcane spells.
- Swordsman – Melee-ranged tank and damage absorber.
Each class is distinct from each other, thanks to the different active and passive abilities. Players will gradually unlock new skills as they level up and complete more main quests. All classes can have 3 active skills, 4 passive skills, and 1 ultimate skill. Players can choose to toggle which skills they want to keep in their battle slot, and which skills they do not want to keep. Much like any other system, your skills can also be upgraded using a specific currency. Enhancing skills increases their damage output value, and reduces the amount of mana consumed to use them.
Players can enjoy playing Legend of Elements on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
