Epic Seven is notoriously known for its popular collaborations with huge IPs (Intellectual Properties). One of the most recent examples is the ongoing collaboration between Smilegate’s Epic Seven and the FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood franchise where 3 unique characters from the FMA universe have joined our heroes in Orbis. Edward Elric, Riza Hawkeye, and Roy Mustang are available as playable characters in Epic Seven with the collaboration. Epic Seven boasts full Live 2D sprites of each hero and stunning animations for their ultimate abilities that look nothing less than a scene from an anime series. Epic Seven is available as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

For example, if you summon another Roy Mustang from the gacha banners, you can simply feed them into your existing Roy Mustang to unlock Imprints. Imprints come in 2 types – Imprint Concentration and Imprint Release. Imprint Concentration provides additional stats to the hero himself while Imprint Release provides additional stats to heroes on your team at specific positions. Roy Mustang Equipment and Artifact Recommendation

Roy Mustang is a pure damage dealer that excels at dealing AOE-targeted damage while not being able to be 1-shot by enemies. His weakness includes the likes of Seaside Bellona, Summer Break Charlotte, etc. Roy Mustang excels as an executioner as his 3rd ability states it deals more damage the fewer enemies remain on the opponent’s side. Hence, he isn’t exactly what you would take if you want to cleave 1-shot enemies on the 1st turn itself. He should be built purely as a DPS hero. We recommend using the Attack Set/ Critical Hit Rate Set with Critical Hit Damage%, Attack%, and Attack% as main stats on Necklace, Ring, and Boots. Emphasis should be laid down on getting Critical Hit Rate%, Critical Hit Damage%, and Attack% as sub-stats.

Let’s check out the Artifacts that are often used by Roy Mustang: –

  • Ignition Cloth Gloves (5-Star Mage Exclusive Artifact) – Increases Hit Chance by 20% and Attack by 14%.
  • Tagehel’s Ancient Book (4-Star Artifact) – Receive 20 Souls at the beginning of a stage.

Roy Mustang Team Recommendations

Here are some heroes that excel with Roy Mustang in their team:

  • Auxiliary Lots (4-Star Dark Hero) – Auxiliary Lots is one of the best heroes to take into any team with slow DPS heroes. His 2nd skill increases the combat readiness of any hero on your team by 100% and grants them an Attack Buff to go with it. Essentially, granting them a turn before all enemies. This is crucial for heroes like Roy Mustang that are at risk of getting killed before they even get to take a turn by AOE-targeted damaging attacks.
  • Challenger Dominiel (4-Star Dark Hero) – Challenger Dominiel is also an amazing combat readiness booster that increases the combat readiness of all heroes on your team. Coupled with heroes that can do an AOE-targeted critical hit, she can increase her own combat readiness by over 50%! Players often use her in cleave teams where they would want to take the first turn before the enemy. Roy Mustang’s AOE-targeted 3rd ability works really well with Challenger Dominiel’s passive ability which increases her combat readiness. Further, she also provides a Critical Hit Rate buff for all team members with her 3rd ability.
