Epic Seven – New Limited Hero Amid, Ran Re-Run, Romantic Vacation Epic Pass and Romantic Getaway Side Story
Epic Seven, the Live 2D anime stylized turn-based RPG by Smilegate is not letting the hype on a standstill as it has introduced a ton of content with the newest update. A new limited-time hero, new QOL optimizations, exciting events featuring juicy rewards, and more are waiting for you in the newest update. Epic Seven is a free-to-play game that is available on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Players can get Leif x 3 + Gold x 300,000 as rewards from the locked chest in their mail. Starting the summary of the update, a brand-new limited time hero called Amid will be added to the game after 23rd February 2023. Players will also be delighted that a series of events for the Valentine’s Week will be placed in order after the current update. A brand new Epic Pass that features the skin for Ran will be available to be purchased and unlocked. A new special side story Romantic Getaway featuring Ran and Amid will also be live in-game after the maintenance ends. Let’s check all the new content coming to Epic Seven with the 16th February 2023 update.
Amid – New Ice Elemental Limited 5-Star Unit
Amid is a natural 5-Star Ice elemental hero that is classified as a Soul Weaver in-game. Amid is slated to release on 23rd February 2023. Players will be able to recruit Amid through her own limited-time covenant recruitment banner where she will be guaranteed to be summoned after 120 summons are made. Her hero description reads the following – “A noble shaman who blooms hope!
Players will be able to meet Amid through the Limited Summon starting February 23.”
Amid’s skills are as follows: –
Zephyr – Attacks the enemy with a fan, and increases combat readiness of the caster by 10%.
+1: + 5% damage dealt
+2: + 5% damage dealt
+3: + 2% combat readiness
+4: + 5% damage dealt
+5: + 3% combat readiness
+6: + 5% damage dealt
+7: + 10% damage dealt
Forest Blessing – Grants Skill Nullifier once to all allies and increases combat readiness by 15%. Grants an extra turn to the caster.
+1: + 1% combat readiness
+2: + 1% combat readiness
+3: + 1% combat readiness
+4: – 1 turn cooldown
+5: + 2% combat readiness
+6: + 2% combat readiness
+7: + 3% combat readiness
Touch of Hope – With elven magic, dispels 2 buffs from an ally except for the caster and grants Swift Attack. Increases Attack of the target for 2 turns.
Swift Attack: At the end of the turn, increases combat readiness by 50%. It is dispelled once the effect is activated.
+1: – 1 turn cooldown
Fan of Light and Dark (5-Star Artifact): After using a non-attack skill twice, increases combat readiness of the ally with the highest Attack by 20%, and has a 70% chance to increase Critical Hit Damage for 2 turns.
Ran – Ice Elemental 5-Star Unit
Ran is a natural 5-Star Ice elemental hero that is classified as a Thief in-game. Ran is going to be available to be summoned on her covenant recruitment banner on 23rd February 2023. Players will be able to summon her using their Covenant Bookmarks. Ran’s description reads the following – “A swordsman that owns the Winter Sword, one of the Four Seasons Swords. Originally from the Eastern Continent, he wandered on another continent for a long time in hopes of accomplishing his goal. However, his efforts were in vain and fate has brought him back to the Eastern Continent.”
Ran’s skills are as follows: –
Tempest – Attacks the enemy with a swordstorm. Penetrates the target’s Defense by 20%. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s Speed.
+1: + 5% damage dealt
+2: + 5% damage dealt
+3: + 5% damage dealt
+4: + 5% damage dealt
+5: + 5% effect chance
+6: + 5% damage dealt
+7: + 10% damage dealt
Mental Focus – Grants immunity to all allies for 2 turns before increasing Attack of the caster for 2 turns. Grants an extra turn to the caster.
+1: – 1 turn cooldown
Instant Blade – Attacks all enemies with a sword, dispelling two buffs before an 80% chance to inflict stigma for 2 turns, and a 65% chance to decrease Defense for 2 turns. Grants skill nullifier once to the caster. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster and the target’s Speed.
Soulburn Effect: Ignores Effect Resistance. (-20 Souls)

Epic Pass 2023 – Romantic Vacation
A new epic pass titled “Romantic Vacation” has also started as we speak! Players will be delighted as the new Epic Pass features an Epic rarity skin for the hero Ran title “Pure White Heart”. Players will require the Special Upgraded version of the Epic Pass in order to unlock the skin. Players can purchase the Epic Pass upgrade by paying the 900 sky stones amount or 1800 skystones if they would like to unlock the skin on top of it as well. As usual, our recommendation would be to always buy the Epic Passes, at least the base version of it at 900 skystones. The rewards you will be getting are much higher in value than paying 900 skystones. Some of the core rewards to be highlighted are – Gold Transmit Stones x 6, Covenant Bookmarks x 15, MolaGora x 3, Epic Artifact Charms, Greater Artifact Charms, Silver Transmit Stones, etc.
Epic Seven’s epic passes are like your traditional battle passes in other similar games where players can receive additional rewards by simply playing the game and participating in the different available game modes. Majorly, players earn experience for the epic pass by spending energy, using their arena flags, and using their labyrinth entry tokens. Another way to get tons of points for the Epic Pass is by consuming your Abyss tokens by purifying the Abyss on a daily basis. The entire pass is divided into 30 unique levels with each reward offering a free reward and a premium reward. Premium rewards are only available to players who have purchased the epic pass.
Sweet Valentine’s Day Special Check-In Event
A new special check-in event has started for the special Valentine’s week. The event is part of the Valentine’s series of events that Epic Seven has announced with the new update. As per usual, players will only need to log in for 7 days during the event period to be able to get all of the rewards offered. Among the rewards, the most prestigious one will be the random 5-Star summon ticket that will be given to all players on the 7th day of the check-in event. The event can already be seen live in-game as it was implemented today after maintenance got over. The event period is from 16th February 2023 till 9th March 2023. Simply login for 7 days in order to collect all the rewards. The logins need not be consecutive but should be made under the given time period.

Day 2: Bonuses Pack (12 Hours) x 1 (Required Player Rank: 4)

Special Side Story – Romantic Getaway
The special side story titled “Romantic Getaway” is having it’s first ever run from 16th February 2023 and lasting till 9th March 2023. This special side story is going to be running for 3 whole weeks, giving the players enough time to farm the event and get all the rewards. The official description of the side story is as follows – “With Natalon at peace, Ran and Amid spend their days under the same roof.
One day, after hearing that they could attain a token that represented eternal love, they make their way to find the black bunny.
Thus, the two hit the road on a very special journey…”
Players will be offered a complete event map for the side story through which they can navigate to where they need to travel. The entire event map is divided into multiple stages. Stages are divided into 3 distinct types:
- Story Stage – In these stages, players will be tasked to view the main storyline of the side story. These stages might or might not be associated with a battle sequence depending on the stage. In these stages, Amid will be accompanying players in the battle as an NPC character. These stages will also have some additional conditions which are required to be fulfilled by the players in order to obtain extra premium currency. Players will also earn the event currency for this side story after they emerge victorious.
- Battle Stage – In these stages, players will be tasked to participate in and win battles against waves of enemies. These stages might also have certain conditions required to be fulfilled in order to obtain the premium currency. Some battle stages may also provide Amid as an NPC hero that is mandatory to be taken into the battles. Players will earn event currency as well post the victory.
- Boss Stage – In these stages, players are required to defeat the boss monster that will come at the end of the waves of enemies. These stages provide players with a higher amount of event currency compared to regular battle stages. Boss stages are further divided into multiple difficulties to suit the level of players – Easy Difficulty/ Normal Difficulty/ Hard Difficulty/ Extreme Difficulty.
Players need to have cleared at least Episode 1, Chapter 10 Stage 10 (Shrieking Hall) to be able to access the side story. The entire event map is divided into 3 different maps with each one having a distinct event currency ready to be farmed. The event currencies for the 3 maps are as follows – Perpetual Pocketwatch, Mystic Perfume, and Snowflake Promise. Just a tip, the boss stages of the event maps is the best area to farm tons of event currency. Players can further exchange their collected event currency throughout the event. These exchange shops offer the likes of MolaGora, Greater and Lesser Artifact Charms, Penguins, Epic, and Rare Catalysts, Giga Phantasms, Covenant Bookmarks, and Gold. Transit Stones and Leifs can also be obtained by clearing the different reputation missions thrown toward the players.
During this side story, if players use the heroes: Amid, Ran, then their stats will be increased in the following manner: Level 60/ Awakened to 6-Star/ +15 Enhanced Skills/Attack and Health increased by 30%. If players use the following heroes: Lucy, Ains, Dingo, Cidd, Choux, Alencia, then their stats will be increased in the following manner: Attack and Health increased by 30%.
