Eversoul has finally launched globally as of writing! Players can install and download the game as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Developed by NineArk Studio and published by KakaoGames, Eversoul is a strategic idle RPG that features different anime-stylized characters called “Souls” in-game. Players can collect and make a team of different types of souls to engage in visually breathtaking battles. Eversoul is a promising game that features cell-shaded characters that look beautiful to look at. Along with its impressive art style, the game features your usual Idle game features such as Auto-Collect Loot and AFK looting.

Being a gacha game, Eversoul offers different souls at different probabilities. The rates for summoning the different Souls vary according to the base rarity of the Soul. The rates are as follows:

• Origin Souls – 4% Probability of being summoned
• Legendary Souls – 46% Probability of being summoned
• Common Souls – 50% Probability of being summoned

In this tier list for Eversoul, we will be ranking the best souls in the game according to their usage in different PvP and PvE game modes. The base skills and base stats of Souls will also be taken in consideration while building the tier list. Keep in mind that the game is still very much new and making a conclusive tier list is not possible. We recommend players choose the Souls they want to take in their formations according to their requirements and liking, taking inspiration from this tier list. 

S Tier Souls

ADRIANNE

Adrianne is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Defender in-game. Adrianne is from the Angels faction and listed as an STR type Soul. Adrianne is one of the best tanks in the game, period. She has everything that you might want for a tank – crowd control, innate tank stats, heals, and backline disruption tools. Sadly, she is an Angel elemental Soul which means raising her will be quite difficult for you as they are rare to Summon. Adrianne’s Main ability Torrent of Brilliance states the following – “Creates a holy explosion, dealing damage equal to 170% ATK in a 3m range around her, and recovers HP of allies within a range equal to 100% of ATK.”. Her ultimate ability Evil-Ending Spear of Judgement is a single-targeted damaging skill that states – “The power of justice pierces through the enemies. Moves towards the enemy with the highest ATK, dealing damage equal to 300% to targets within 3m, and then lifts the target into the air.”

AYAME

Ayame is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Caster in-game. Ayame is from the Demons faction and listed as an INT type Soul.  Ayame is one of the best continuous damage dealers as of the release of the game. She has multiple AOE-targeted attacks that bleed out the enemy while doing magic damage in the area continuously. Ayame’s main ability Blooming Darkness states the following – “Summons a hand of shadow to deal damage equal to 180% ATK to enemies in a 4.6m wide and 7m long area in front and make them bleed, dealing damage equal to 65% ATK every 2 seconds for 8 seconds.”. Her ultimate ability Sharp Scratching Shadow does as follows – “Ayame in the mirror attacks the enemy. Deals damage equal to 270% of ATK to the nearest enemy in a 2.5m circular area and makes it bleed, dealing damage equal to 80% of ATK for 8 seconds.” 

NINI

Nini is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Caster in-game. Nini is from the Undead faction and listed as an INT type Soul. Nini is the perfect combination of a mage that can deal tons of crowd control effects on a group of enemies. From the looks of her skillset, she seems primarily suitable for PvP game modes. Nini’s main ability Yin Yang Bagua Zhang states the following – “Sends out a huge Star Discus. Deals damage equal to 160% of ATK in a 2.5m wide and 6.5m long area in front of the nearest enemy and deals burning or freezing damage equal to 55% ATK every 2 sec for 10 sec.” Her ultimate ability Clash of the Universe does as follow – “Throws countless amount of sealing charms. Deals damage equal to 270% ATK to the nearest enemy and 2.5m area around it, and silences the target for 10 seconds.”

PETRA

Petra is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Defender in-game. Petra is from the Undead faction and listed as an STR type Soul. Petra is one of those defenders that can be played offensively as well. She heals herself to sustain herself well while also dealing damage to enemies. This damage scales according to her MAX HP which is amazing since she is usually built with very high HP. Petra’s main ability Energy Absorption states the following – “Recovers HP by absorbing the surrounding energy. Absorbs HP equal to 12% of the max HP of each enemy within 3m (damage cannot be greater than 300% of Petra’s ATK).” Her ultimate ability Underworld Keeper’s Evil Eyes does as follow – “Activates Petra’s evil eyes, dealing damage equal to 10% of her max HP to all enemies. removes up to 2 buff effects, and Petra recovers HP equal to the damage dealt (damage cannot be greater than 300% of Petra’s ATK)” 

AIRA

Aira is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Warrior in-game. Aira is from the Beast faction and listed as an STR type Soul. Aira is a true brawler in every sense. Her skills deal more damage according to her MAX HP when her current Health% is above 50% while her skills heal her when her current Health% is below 50%. Aira’s main ability Between Life and Death states the following – “Resonates the rune of life and rune of death. dealing damage equal to 180% of Aira’s ATK to the nearest enemy, stunning it for 2 seconds. When Aira’s HP is 50% or more deals additional damage equal to 25% of Aira’s max HP to the target, and if it is 50% or less, recovers HP by 25%.”. Her ultimate ability Great Death Sentence does as follow – “Strikes a full blow that deals damage equal to 240% of Aira’s ATK to the nearest enemy and enemies within 3m of the target. Deals additional damage equal to 25% of max HP and recovers her HP by 25%.”

SOONIE

Soonie is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Defender in-game. Soonie is from the Beast faction and listed as an STR type Soul. Soonie needs to be built with high Defense since the damage and effectiveness of her abilities scale according to her own Defense. Soonie is a great debuffer as well on top of being a sturdy tank for the team. Soonie’s main ability Fire on Board! states the following – ” Receive supportive fire from the ship and deal damage based on the target’s DEF to the nearest enemy (and in a 7m x 6.5m radius around him) and remove 2 buffs from damaged targets.” Her ultimate ability Sudden Death does as follow – “Summon a ship to deal damage based on the target’s DEF to the nearest enemy (and in a 3.5m radius around him) and remove all buffs from damaged targets.”

JADE

Jade is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Caster in-game. Jade is from the Humanlike faction and listed as an INT type Soul. Jade is a great pseudo-DPS type unit that can assist your formation in increasing your overall DPS. Jade’s main ability Ring of Gold states the following – “Throw a spinning golden ring toward the nearest enemy. There is a 30% chance to deal additional damage equal to Jade’s ATK.” Her ultimate ability Forbidden Door does as follow – “Open the forbidden vault to deal damage and stun all enemies. Then, increase the activation chance of allies’ sub-skills by 50%.” Jade’s 2nd Sub-skill Gem Bullet is a single targeted damaging skill that states “Jade throws large, sharp pieces of jewels at the nearest enemy, dealing damage to him. There is a 30% chance to deal additional damage.”

CATHERINE

Catherine is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Supporter in-game. Catherine is from the Humanlike faction and listed as an STR type Soul. Catherine is one of the best supports in the game as all of her abilities provide tons of healing for allies along with Shield buffs that can absorb quite a lot of damage. Catherine’s main ability Gloria states the following – “Uses holy power to grant the blessing of protection to allies. Applies a shield to nearby allies that absorbs damage equal to 12% of Catherine’s max HP for 10 seconds.” Her ultimate ability Kyrie does as follow – “Blesses all allies through fancy ceremony and prayer. Recovers HP of all allies by 150% of ATK and creates shields that absorb damage equal to 25% of Catherine’s max HP lasting for 12 sec.”

TALIA

Talia is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Supporter in-game. Talia is from the Fairy faction and listed as an INT type Soul. Talia is arguably one of the best supports as well alongside Catherine except she is more buff focused instead of defensive healing/shielding like the former. Talia’s main ability Tell Me Your Zodiac Sign states the following – “Bless all allies with the energy of the stars. Dispel one debuff from them and grant them a buff that continuously recovers health and mana.” Her ultimate ability The Day the Stars Arrived does as follow – “Summon the seven stars that protect Talia to deal damage to enemies and knock them back. At the same time, bless all allies and continuously restore their health and mana.”

B Tier Souls

Let’s look at some of the Souls in this tier:

FLYNN

Flynn is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Ranger in-game. Flynn is from the Beast faction and listed as an STR type Soul. Flynn is nothing special as a DPS due to her low base numbers and single-targeted abilities. She gets outshined by many other DPS souls in the game. Flynn’s main ability Mmm, Gunpowder! states the following – “Flynn, engulfed in madness, explodes Mr. Rocket, causing her normal attacks to explode and deal additional damage by the same amount as the normal attacks to targets within 2.5m for 10 seconds. Speed increases by 40% for 10 seconds.” Her ultimate ability Hit the Machine and It Will Work does as follow – “Flynn, engulfed in madness, fires a rocket, dealing damage equal to 330% of ATK to the nearest enemy and enemies within 2.5m around it, and stuns the target for 2 sec.”

CHERRIE

Cherrie is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Ranger in-game. Cherrie is from the Humanlike faction and listed as a DEX type Soul. Much like Flynn, she is also not a reliable DPS soul. Cherrie’s main ability Kiss of Fire states the following – “Fires alcohol through the heated muzzle to create flames. Deals damage equal to 180% of ATK to enemies in a 2.5m wide and 6.5m long area in front of the nearest enemy and burns them, dealing damage equal to 60% of ATK every 2 seconds for 8 seconds.” Her ultimate ability Super Spiritus does as follow – “Blows up a liquor bottle containing refined alcohol to inflict damage equal to 230% of ATK to the enemies in a 7m long, 60-degree conical area and makes them Burn, which inflicts damage equal to 65% of ATK every 2 seconds for 8 seconds.”

SEEHA

Seeha is an Origin rarity Soul that is classified as a Supporter in-game. Seeha is from the Beast faction and listed as a DEX type Soul. Seeha’s skills are straight up a downgrade compared to Catherine, a similar level of Supporter. Hence, she has been pushed down to the tier list. Seeha’s main ability The Show Starts states the following – “Restore the HP of allies within 3m. If Mica is on the battlefield, additionally, give them a buff that continuously restores their HP.” Her ultimate ability Moonlight Stage does as follow – “Seeha’s finally started her concert! Restore all allies’ HP and if Mica is on the battlefield, additionally give them a buff that continuously restores their HP.”
