Tip #1. Prioritize Completing Main Quests

Main quests are your primary source of experience points (EXP), currency, and unlocking game features. Focus on these initially to level up quickly and access essential game modes like dungeons, co-op raids, and PvP. The storyline not only immerses you in the game but also introduces mechanics, ensuring you understand the basics. Once main quests are on cooldown or completed, tackle side quests for additional resources.

Tip #2. Learn about Gran Weapons

Gran Weapons are the heart of Gran Saga’s gameplay. These unique items grant characters powerful abilities and dictate your combat effectiveness. Match your Gran Weapon’s elemental type to your enemy’s weakness. For example, use Water-based Gran Weapons against Fire-type enemies. Equip Gran Weapons that complement your character’s class. A healer benefits from support-type weapons, while DPS characters should focus on offensive ones.

Much like characters, gran weapons can also be enhanced to increase their power level and stats. These weapons require a different set of enhancement materials that can be farmed from various avenues in the game. Collect enhancement stones and materials from dungeons and events. Prioritize enhancing your main Gran Weapon over secondary ones to maximize your power. As you progress, summon new Gran Weapons to diversify your arsenal and maximize your progression.

Tip #3. Master the Combat Mechanics

Gran Saga’s combat system is dynamic and rewards strategy. Much like other mobile MMORPGs launched in the recent years, the combat is completely action oriented which means it allows room for more skill expression. Players can literally control their character in battles and do all types of action such as running, attacking, defending, dodging, and jumping.  Make use of these features to avoid direct attacks from bosses.

While auto-battle is convenient for farming, manual control is crucial in challenging dungeons and boss battles. Use manual mode to dodge powerful attacks and time your skills effectively. Save your strongest skills for critical moments, such as enemy weak phases or boss enrage states. Chain abilities for maximum damage output, especially during boss fights. The game also employs a strategic elemental system wherein all elements are weaker/stronger to one another. Tip #5. Build a Strong Team Composition 

Building an effective team is key to success in Gran Saga. In the start, you will be given a choice of 3 characters to select from a party of 6. Eventually, as your order rank (account level) increases, you can unlock all of the characters in the game. For the start, we would recommend going with 1 tank, 1 DPS, and 1 Healer/Support. An ideal starting party in Gran Saga could be Wyin/Namarie/Seriade. A balanced team ensures survivability and consistent damage output. Switch characters and Gran Weapons to suit the specific requirements of dungeons or enemies. Equip support-focused Gran Weapons for healing and buffs during difficult battles.

Tip #6. Join a Guild

Gran Saga employs many features to make it more socially lucrative to play. This comes naturally as a MMORPG can only be fun when there are other players to play with. Joining a Guild in the game is the best way to find like-minded players that can help and advise you for mutual growth. Further, joining a guild will give players access to many of its features such as passive buffs, Parvane’s Battlefield, and Trial of the Spirit King. The latter is a challenging dungeon which rewards all guild members with tons of Diamonds. Strategize together and take down this gigantic mammoth to reap amazing rewards!
