Prince of Persia: Lost Crown brings the beloved franchise to mobile devices with a fresh take on its iconic platforming and time-bending mechanics. Set in the mythic world of Mount Qaf, players step into the role of Sargon, a young warrior from the elite Immortals tasked with rescuing the kidnapped Prince. Although the game is quite straight-forward, it also holds deeper meaning with intricate game mechanics. We have a slew of useful tips and tricks that players can utilize on their own adventures. Let’s begin!

Tip #1. Use Memory Tokens if Feeling Lost/Stuck

The memory token is one of the most convenient and useful tools to exist in any Metroidvania stylized games. The addition of this feature greatly helps new players, especially those who are new to the genre, in not getting lost easily. Prince of Persia: Lost Crown is an expansive game where you will need to roam a lot and explore multiple avenues. It gets quite hard to keep track of where everything is. Luckily, you can press the down movement virtual key to save any place you’re currently at.

This is extremely beneficial for case you’re lost or want to return to old places after gaining a new Time Power.  All you have to do is check the map for your Memory Tokens, and you’ll be able to see the screenshot you took, which will inform you whether you’re now able to move through a location that was previously prohibited.

Tip #2. If you’re struggling to navigate, play on Guided mode

Prince of Persia: Lost Crown has 2 distinct game modes – Exploration mode and Guided mode. The former game mode is more suited for experienced gamers who can navigate their way through the game storyline without too many hints or guidance by the AI (Artificial Intelligence). The guided mode on the other hand is much more suited for beginners as it allows them to understand where they need to head over next. This is done via highlighting important locations, structures, and more.

Tip #3. Talk to Fariba for Hints!

Fariba the mage is a great guide in Prince of Persia: Lost Crown. She is located in the hub area, inside Lower City, next to a Mage shop. Fariba charges 30 time crystals, the in-game currency, to help you navigate what to do next to proceed. She only gives vague hints, so do not always count on them to be accurate. You will still need to decipher what she means. She will never give you specific directions or locations but instead give you a vague sentence to decipher like – “A Winged Statue can help you ascend to the next area”.

Tip #4. Find and Use Wak-Wak Trees to your Advantage!

When you reach the primary terrain of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Mount Qaf, you’ll come upon a tree with golden leaves known as the Wak-Wak tree.  These will be the most crucial parts of your journey because interacting with them will allow you to heal completely.  Aside from healing, these trees provide a variety of other functions:

  • The ability to equip or change any equipped amulets
  • Players can equip one Athra Surge by going to the tree and interacting with it.
  • Interacting with the faces on the branches can help you navigate your way.

Tip #5. Don’t Panic Re-Set Boss Fights!

The Runner cards are another unique type of card found only in Disney Solitaire. This card entails that it can be used to change the rank of any one card on the table. There are 2 different types of runner cards – Runner Up Card and Runner Down Card. The former allows you to increase the rank of the chosen card by 1, and the latter allows you to decrease the rank of the chosen card by 1. These cards are quite helpful in tricky situations when you’re stuck with no options but to draw more cards.

Players can enjoy playing Prince of Persia: Lost Crown on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
