Seven Knights Re:BIRTH is the direct sequel to the popular turn-based RPG Seven Knights. It was released globally just recently, and has already received quite the applause for its flashy animations, tactical combat, and depth when it comes to farming resources. The game’s core loop revolves around farming different resources such as EXP and rubies. However, the core goal is to build a strong team of capable heroes that can carry you through the adventure mode. This guide will shed light on all the different processes that a player can go through in order to empower their owned heroes. Let’s start!
All Hero Upgrade Methods in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH
While the game may seem one dimensional as an early game player, things will quickly take a turn as you progress farther down the adventure mode, and unlock new game modes and growth processes. In Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, players can upgrade any hero of any rank or class without hesitation by indulging in the following methods:
- Levelling Up – This is the process via which you can increase the level of your heroes, and see a jump in their base stats.
- Enhance – This is the process via which you can increase the core base stats of your heroes.
- Rank Up – This is the process via which you can increase the base rank of the hero, on top of expanding its level capacity.
- Fuse – This process can be used to combine two heroes of the same rank and craft an entirely new hero.
- Transcend – This process is used to empower heroes core base stats and skills using duplicates of the hero.
- Skill Enhancement – Players can use skill enhancement stones to empower the active and passive skills of the hero.
Levelling Up your Heroes
One of the core processes when it comes to hero growth and empowerment is to simply level them up. Now, levelling in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH is more time consuming than other gacha games, simply because you cannot directly feed EXP to your heroes. Each hero in the game levels up when you take them into battle with you in different game modes. The best way to level up heroes is to take them with you in adventure mode stages.
Each hero can be initially levelled up to Level 30, post which it needs to be enhanced and transcended to break through the level limit. All heroes can ultimately reach Level 60 at the highest. Each level increase enhances the base stats of the hero, such as Attack, Defense, and Health Points (HP).
Hero Enhancement
In Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, the enhancement process refers to sacrificing other heroes to enhance a hero you select. Enhancement success determines according to set rates, which vary based on the difference between the star ranks of the hero being enhanced and the hero being used as fodder material. While you can use multiple heroes as materials, each enhancement attempt is processed individually, and their success rates are not combined.
Each enhancement increases hero rating by 1, and players can enhance any hero up to a maximum of 5 times. Each enhancement further increases the hero’s Attack, Defense, and HP. One important aspect of this process to keep in mind is that heroes once used as enhancement materials cannot be recovered or retrieved.
Ranking Up Heroes in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH
Ranking up refers to the process via which you can make fully enhanced heroes (+5) even stronger. This method uses a new currency called “Particles”. Particles are collected from power up dungeons, and the required type of particles vary based on the targeted hero’s role. This method allows you to increase the star rank of heroes, and can be used for any hero, regardless of their rarity. Each hero in the game can go up to 6 stars at maximum. The grade and quantity of required particle materials for ranking up vary depending on the target star rank.
How to Transcend heroes in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH?
The transcend method is only allowed for heroes that are natural 4-stars and above. Each hero in the game can be transcended up to 12 times. This method requires you to consume duplicates of the targeted hero you are transcending. Star rank and other attributes of material heroes do not matter, and they will be permanently lost. Transcendence enhances skills or stats, and specific effects vary by hero. This can be a quite time consuming and expensive process since it requires duplicate heroes. \
Hero Skill Enhancement
You can enhance the skills of your heroes that are already at 6-star using this process. Skill enhancement stones are used for heroes up to Rare heroes, and Brilliant skill enhancement stones are used for legendary heroes. One of a hero’s skills is randomly enhanced, excluding any skills that have already been enhanced. Skill enhancement grants the skill new effects or improves existing ones.
