Tower of God: New World is an officially licensed Tower of God mobile game developed by Netmarble! Players can explore a fresh storyline told from a different point of view and meet their favourite characters from the IP such as Khun, Zahard, Rak, and more! Collect strong characters and cultivate a team of veterans to climb the tower floors. Tower of God: New World is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. 

The new update and its contents can already be seen in-game as the update was implemented on 27th March, 2024. The highlight of the update was definitely the 2 new SSR characters – Ha Yuri (Regular) and Lero Ro (Regular). They have amazing PvP suiting abilities. Next, we have a new power-up system that enables veterans to increase their combat power further! Of course, some spicy events to end it all off! 

Ha Yuri (Regular) – New SSR+ Character

Ha Yuri (Regular) is an SSR+ rarity character that is classified as a Green elemental Assassin in-game. Take a look at her abilities and passives:

Integrity (Special Move) – Yuri Provokes nearby enemies for 5s, charges up, then unleashes a solid punch, dealing 240% of her ATK as Critical Hit DMG 8 times to enemies in range and Jolting them. The last hit Knocks back the target for 2s.

In addition, Yuri deals 50% of the DMG she took while charging up as additional DMG with each hit. (Additional DMG is limited to 300% of Yuri’s ATK.)

Yuri becomes immune to status effects and her HP does not drop below 1 while using this skill.

Solid Punch – Yuri throws a solid punch, dealing 200% of her ATK as DMG to the enemy 3 times and jolting them.

If the target does not die from the attack, Yuri deals 240% of her ATK as DMG 3 more times and Jolts them.

If the target does not die from the attack, Yuri deals 320% of her ATK as DMG to the enemy 4 times and jolts them. The last hit Knocks Back the target for 2s.

Rose Protection – Yuri unleashes a spinning roundhouse kick to deal 620% of her ATK as DMG to nearby enemies. She then creates a Rose Protection for herself, lasting 20s. (Max: bstacks)Yuri recovers HP equal to 200% of her ATK every second, and her Lifesteal increases by 10% while Rose Protection is active.

I Choose You – Yuri leaps to the enemy with the highest ATK at the start of the battle, dealing 620% of her ATK as DMG to the target and nearby enemies and Knocking them Down for 2s.

In addition, Yuri only targets the enemy with the highest ATK in battle and becomes immune to Command and Provoke. She immediately creates a field of Rose Protection when Provoked.

When afflicted with an ATK decrease debuff, Yuri becomes immune to the effect and her ATK increases by 24% for 10s. (Max: 5 stacks)

When afflicted with a Swiftness Decrease debuff, Yuri becomes immune to the effect and her Swiftness increases by 16 for 10s. (Max: 5 stacks)

Leaf Hair Tie (Exclusive Equipment)

Level 1: The ATK coefficient of each Integrity hit increases by 20%.

Level 2: The ATK coefficient of each Integrity hit increases by an additional 20%.

Level 3: The upper limit of Integrity’s additional DMG increases by 200%.

Level 4: Integrity always lands.

Lero Ro (Regular) – New SSR Character

Lero Ro (Regular) is an SSR rarity character that is classified as a Green elemental Support in-game. Take a look at his abilities and passives:

Shinsu Barrier (Special Move) – Lero Ro creates Shinsu barriers that last 6s for all of his allies.

When the barriers are created, the ATK and DEF of the ally with the lowest HP percentage each increase by 80% for 6s.

Shinsu barriers block projectile attacks, and the protected ally’s HP is healed for 400% of Lero Ro’s ATK for each projectile blocked.

Lightning Beast– Lero Ro enhances his weapon using the Dangan Style Weapon Reinforcement Technique, applying Blitz to all allies for 8s.

Blitz increases their basic attack DMG by 120% and decreases the Energy of the targets hit by their basic attack by 16

If the target is a summoned being, the basic attack DMG increases by an additional 20%.

Lightning Zone – Lero Ro creates a lightning zone which deals 320% of his ATK as DMG to enemies in range every second for 6s.

The first attack of the lightning zone Paralyzes targets in range for 2s.

Shinsu Amplification – Lero Ro increases all allies’ Magic Pierce by 16% at the start of the battle.

He then increases all allies’ Magic Pierce by an additional 6% every 10s once the battle begins. (Max: 4 stacks)

Allegro (Exclusive Equipment)

Level 1: Lero Ro recovers 50 Energy for each enemy hit by Lightning Zone.

Level 2: Each projectile stopped with Shinsu Barrier increases the target ally’s DEF by 10% for 6s. (Max: 5 stacks)

Level 3: When increasing allies’ ATK and DEF with a Shinsu Barrier, Lero Ro gains the same effects.

Level 4: Shinsu Amplification is enhanced to decrease the activation time of the additional Magic Pierce increase by 5s.

The Revolution System

For players who are looking for ways to get even stronger, good news! The developers have added a new system called “Revolution” that will allow players to enhance characters post limit-break to get even stronger. To utilize this system, you must fulfill some core conditions. You must have cleared at least adventure level 16-20 as well as have a Limit Break tier 6 character. 

How it works:

• There are base nodes and bonus nodes in the Revolution system.
• Revolution Fragments can be used to unlock each base node in turn after you’ve unlocked the first one and met the requirements for the Limit Break.
• “Shining Revolution Fragments” can be used to unlock and level up bonus nodes that are derived from a base node once it has been unlocked.
