Welcome to the colorful and unpredictable world of Trickcal:Chibi Go, a game that blends charm, chaos, and creativity into one delightful experience. In this recently released game, every action feels alive. Cute yet mischievous chibi characters fill the screen with energy as you jump, race, and explore through a series of whimsical challenges. This beginner’s guide will walk you through the basics, from understanding the controls and gameplay flow to mastering the various in-game systems. Let’s begin!

Understanding the Gameplay Flow of Trickcal:Chibi Go

Trickcal:Chibi Go is a casual player friendly game where the combat itself might appear dull but the combat preparation and tactics require quite the dedication to understand. The gameplay comprises interesting PvE oriented story stages that also provide insight to the narrative of the game. All players start at level 0, and gradually gain experience by spending Candy, the stamina currency of the game. You require Candy to play any stage in any game mode of Trickcal:Chibi Go.

Players build a roster of cute chibi characters called “Apostles” in the official game terminology. Each apostle is unique and they also come in differing rarities that determine the quality of their stats, as well as utility in the game. Although you do not need to get the best apostles to progress in the game, they definitely do help if you plan on re-rolling. The game has a host of PvE and PvP game modes that unlock depending on your progress in the Crusade mode. Consider it like the adventure or campaign mode in other game as it tells you more about the narrative of the game’s storyline on top of helping you progress.

A Plethora of PvE and PvP Game Modes

Beyond the Story and Dungeons, Trickcal features several other modes that gradually open up as you advance. Each mode focuses on different rewards and challenges, and learning when to engage with each is part of the fun. For beginners, though, it is best to stick to Story stages and the Skill Materials Dungeon. Once you have a stable team and a clear understanding of the game flow, you can branch out into the other Dungeons to farm different types of materials.

Building an effective team is Key in Trickcal:Chibi Go

Team building in Trickcal is more about understanding personality and race bonuses than complex formations. Most players will rely on their Eldain Apostles as the core of their team and fill the remaining slots with other Apostles that activate personality and race buffs. Occasionally, you may adjust your team based on enemy weaknesses in specific stages, but for the most part, building around buffs is key.

Personality bonuses provide universal HP and damage boosts depending on how many characters of the same personality you field. For example, having two gives a small boost, while having eight or nine results in massive bonuses.

Race bonuses, on the other hand, give unique effects. For example, Dragon units reduce incoming critical hits, Sprite units enhance skill damage, and Witch units boost critical damage and rate. Elf units increase attack speed, Werebeast units boost basic attack damage, Phantom units reduce incoming damage, Elemental units improve SP and HP recovery, and having at least one Mystic unit gives a flat attack boost. Understanding these synergies allows you to form a strong team even with limited characters.

Apostles – Meet your Cute Knights in Not-so Shining Armors

Like we mentioned before, apostles are the core characters who have access to unique active and passive abilities. They come in differing grades, personalities, and races. The lowest grade of apostles is 1-star, while the highest is 3-stars. You can get new apostles from the gacha system of the game that unlocks after completing the tutorial.

Players can upgrade their apostles by leveling them up, equipping them with strong gear, star ranking them, and enhancing their skills. There are a lot of ways to increase the power of your apostles, so do not worry about it in the beginning. Simply progress in the main story mode as far as you can while making replacements to your line-up according to the new apostles you recruit.

Recruit New Apostles via the Gacha System!

The gacha system of Trickcal:Chibi Go unlocks fairly early on when you complete the initial tutorial and clear World 1 Stage 4. The first 10-pull every player gets is completely free, and guaranteed to draw a 3-star apostle. Players require different currencies to summon on different banners. Your premium currency, Crystal Leaf, is more rare because it can be used on any banner. The pick-up recruitment banners usually have the newest character at a higher rate-up chance. The standard recruit banner offers all 3-star apostles at equal rates.

Players can enjoy playing Trickcal:Chibi Go on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
