War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn is a real-time strategy RPG that features a full wartime theme show, where you are tasked with restoring your former kingdom back to its forgotten glory. Being a live-service title, it’s recommended to play the game in a marathon style, and not a sprint due to the artificial limitation put on players when it comes to resources. Nonetheless, implementing the mentioned tips in this article will help players enhance their rate of progression. Let’s get right into the tips!

Tip #1. Completing the Main Quests

War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn has a host of extensive questlines for the player to follow, and to refer to as a guideline. These quests are going to be super beneficial to any new player starting their adventures in the game. Not only do they offer a sense of progression but they also help in making you comfortable with the game’s environment and mechanics. In short, they act as a tutorial for the new player. Plus, these quests are also quite giving in nature, providing juicy rewards for free after completing each quest. The quests themselves are quite easy and mundane in nature, requiring you to either travel & talk to NPCs, or to fight off hordes of enemies at a time.

Tip #2. Upgrading your City Hall

The City Hall is going to be the premiere building for any player coming to War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn. Consider it like the headquarters or castle of your kingdom, where you rule and implement policies for the entire kingdom. City Hall also provides a host of benefits for the entire kingdom. Upgrading the level of City Hall will empower the player with the ability to perform various tasks such as upgrading other buildings, and improving construction speed. Each level up of City Hall is going to be more difficult than the previous one. 

Tip #3. Always Having Troops Ready!

Being a tactical RTS game, War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn has a quirky feature to train & deploy troops that can be used in battles. The battles can be both, offensive and defensive. By offensive, we mean to imply that when you take up the command and commence a raid on the enemy base. By defensive, we mean to imply when the enemy tries to siege your kingdom. Both situations are going to require a lot of trained troops from the Barracks to help you fend off enemy troops. Ensuring you have a steady amount of troops trained all the time will also save your time when entering battles.

Tip #4. Increasing your Nobility 

Each player has a Nobility level in War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn. This is essentially a “Rank” assigned to the player. Nobility can be enhanced by simply following these methods:

• Adventure, Daily Quests, Arena Challenge, and reputation items all grant the reputation needed to level up the Nobility level.
• Nobility level from low to high: Knight, Baron, Viscount, Count, Marquis, Duke, Archduke, Prince, Great Prince, Crown Prince, Viceroy.
• Viceroys have to consume reputation to maintain their soldiers daily.
• If you do not have enough reputation, the king will lower your Nobility level down to Viceroy I.

Tip #5. Understanding Different Hero Attributes

Your heroes are going to be the bread & butter for your team when it comes to fighting as they will lead your troops into battles. Heroes in War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn are acquired via different means such as via the gacha system, events, and new player missions. Understanding about their traits and attributes will help you strategize more on the battlefield. Check out all the hero attributes and their meanings:

• Physical ATK – Increases Phy ATK for all units
• Physical DEF – Increases Phy DEF for all units
• Magic ATK – Increases Magic ATK for all units
• Magic DEF – Increase Magic DEF for all units
• Prestige – Determines the capacity of units each troop can carry
• Leadership – Determines the types of troops under a Hero’s command; the total of the Leadership Requirements cannot exceed the Hero’s Leadership Skill.
• Offense – Increase hero damage dealt when countering an opponent
• Defense – Reduce hero damage taken when counted by an opponent
