DC: Dark Legion just got updated with a comprehensive update yet again, showing the dedication and commitment of the developers to keep improving the game. While there are no new characters or weapons introduced with the update, it still marks a huge move as the Hanger system and Darkest timeline are seeing major changes to them. Apart from new system improvements, many existing features also got slight tweaks to showcase improved Quality-of-life for all players. Let’s check out everything new that was added to the game with the May 2025 update!

Hangar Overhaul and Apokolips System

The Hangar has undergone a major visual and functional upgrade, offering a more immersive experience. Players no longer need to enhance each vehicle individually; instead, vehicle levels have been reset, and all previously used Quantum Components have been returned to inventories.

A new system, Apokolips, unlocks at War Room Level 13. By using Quantum Components, players can increase their Apokolips level, unlocking attribute bonuses for all Champions. As the Apokolips level rises, additional Legendary vehicles become available. Notably, two new Legendary vehicles, Pequod and Steel Eagle, have been introduced, each equipped with unique skills that provide significant advantages in battle.

The Darkest Timeline Expansion

The Darkest Timeline mode has been expanded with two new difficulty levels, offering tougher challenges and deluxe rewards, including limited-time frames. A formidable new enemy, the Murder Machine, now appears in Difficulty 3 and above. To balance the increased difficulty, certain levels have been adjusted for smoother progression. Additionally, the Timeline Journal now extends to Level 150, providing more missions and user-friendly improvements for players to explore.

  • A confirmation pop-up has been added when assigning an Express Guardian to prevent accidental actions.
  • Commanders will receive push notifications when the train’s departure countdown begins.
  • Various text descriptions, icons, and reward displays have been improved for clarity.
