Run R-Cast on PC or Mac

What’s better than using R-Cast by Appestry? Well, try it on a big screen, on your PC or Mac, with BlueStacks to see the difference.

About the App

R-Cast is your shortcut to streaming web videos straight from your Android device to your Roku. Ever spot an online video that isn’t available through a Roku channel? With R-Cast, you can send it right over to your big screen, making it so much easier to watch what you want without crowding around your phone. The whole thing’s pretty simple—you browse, pick a video, and cast it to your Roku, all from your Android with barely any setup.

App Features

  • Easy Roku Detection
Just connect your Android and Roku to the same Wi-Fi, launch R-Cast, and watch as your Roku devices instantly show up in the app. No complicated pairing or codes needed.

  • Web Browser Built In
Search for videos through the browser inside R-Cast. When you find something worth sharing, just tap cast—it’s all integrated into the app, so you’re not jumping between different browsers or apps.

  • Quick Casting
Whether your device is running Android 4.3 or something newer, casting videos is straightforward. Play a full-screen video or just start it, pick your Roku in the menu, and it’s on the TV.

  • Upgrade Perks
If you’re watching longer clips or hate the sight of browser ads, the RADICAL edition is available. It lets you cast videos longer than 10 minutes and resume where you left off, plus it gets rid of those bottom-of-browser ads.

  • Heads Up on Compatibility
Not every video works—stuff like HTTPS, Flash, or live streams might not play, and sometimes video quality depends on its source. It won’t work with YouTube videos on all Android versions. But when it clicks, it’s a huge convenience.

  • Roku Channel Integration
R-Cast is designed to work hand-in-hand with its own Roku channel. For the best interface, make sure both the app and the channel are set up—it’s all pretty seamless if you’re already a Roku fan.

If you’re using BlueStacks, R-Cast offers an easy way to enjoy your favorite web videos on a bigger screen right from your Android device.

Big screen. Bigger performance. Use BlueStacks on your PC or Mac to run your favorite apps.
