The point of Down the Hole! is to go down the hole. Or, rather, the goal is to send a faceless ragdoll down the hole. How do you do this? It depends on what items you have at your disposal.
For instance, when you first start the game, you get to attach a rocket backpack to the faceless humanoid being. The rocket backpack will propel the character to the right, forcing them to drop into the hole.
Other levels require attaching balloons on the back of the blue character and popping them at the correct moment. You’ll also need to combine different items in order to make the character move or float to a specific direction.
Be careful about hitting the cardboard boxes. You can accidentally knock them over, causing them to block the hole and preventing you from progressing. When this happens, and it will happen multiple times during your playthrough, you’ll need to redo the level.
