LifeAfter is a 3D game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world run by zombies. When you load up the game, you have to choose a character. A Human retains their humanity as a virus-free character thrown into a world of chaos. As a Revenant, you’re infected with the virus but still retain your humanity. Regardless of which mode you choose, you’ll have to make it through the apocalypse.
After choosing which character to play, you have to choose between Doomsday Novice or Survival Expert, with each gaming mode offering different levels of difficulty.
LifeAfter follows your character and a computer NPC who navigate through the hectic world taken over by zombies and chaos. You have to use whatever weapons you have at your disposal to take out zombies and make it to the end of each stage.
As you make it to subsequent stages in the game, you learn that you’re not the only survivor. Everyone has the same goal to evacuate the zombie-ridden city, so you have to work together to create traps and obstacles for your zombie enemies. If they make it past your defenses, your only hope is to blast your way to freedom before being bitten.
