Geralt is an Agility type hero from the Dimensional faction that is classified as a Warrior in-game. Geralt specializes in dealing continuous damage to all enemies with his feverous abilities.

Backstory

The backstory of Geralt reads as follows – “You won’t find a swordsman finer than a witcher. Take Geralt of Rivia, the famous monster slayer. Fearless and deadly in battle, he owes his exceptional dexterity to rigorous training and a mutagenic process called the Trial of Grasses. As a boy, Geralt was put in the care of Vesemir, a witcher from the School of the Wolf. His instruction complete, Geralt left the witchers’ stronghold, Kaer Morhen, to travel the world and make his living by hunting down bloodthirsty monsters. He carries two swords, the silver one for beasts and the steel one… For humans, apparently. At least that’s what the common folk say.”

Tips for Using Geralt

  • Firstly, we would like to make it very clear that using Geralt without Yennefer is not advised at all. His Adrenaline Recovery rate is heavily increased when Yennefer is on the same team as him. Geralt is a great hero to take to replace the likes of Damian in your team as he can do 2 things – deal consistently ignore defense damage and sustain himself with his ultimate ability “Potion Up”. Granted, the condition of having Yennefer on the team as well can set him back a couple of points on a tier list due to lack of self-sustainability.
  • Geralt is one of the first heroes that potentially has 6 different abilities. His 3rd skill Battle Signs give birth to 3 more abilities that can make Geralt tricky to use. Out of the 3 abilities, we would say Quen and Aard might be the best ones as they suit the rest of Geralt’s skill set.
