Geralt – The White Wolf Witcher
Geralt is an Agility type hero from the Dimensional faction that is classified as a Warrior in-game. Geralt specializes in dealing continuous damage to all enemies with his feverous abilities.
The backstory of Geralt reads as follows – “You won’t find a swordsman finer than a witcher. Take Geralt of Rivia, the famous monster slayer. Fearless and deadly in battle, he owes his exceptional dexterity to rigorous training and a mutagenic process called the Trial of Grasses. As a boy, Geralt was put in the care of Vesemir, a witcher from the School of the Wolf. His instruction complete, Geralt left the witchers’ stronghold, Kaer Morhen, to travel the world and make his living by hunting down bloodthirsty monsters. He carries two swords, the silver one for beasts and the steel one… For humans, apparently. At least that’s what the common folk say.”
Geralt’s Active Skills
The active abilities that can be used by Geralt are as follows:
Whirl – Performs a fast spin to damage enemies within range multiple times. Each hit deals 200% Attack Rating damage. Geralt gains additional 30 Adrenaline points per enemy hit. When Yennefer is an ally, Geralt’s Adrenaline Recovery Rate increases by 10%.

Damage scales with Geralt’s Adrenaline value, and can be increased up to 30%. If Graveborn or Hypogean enemies are within the skill range, Geralt will attack with his silver sword, additionally reducing their Energy by 400 points. While using the silver sword, Geralt is immune to all control effects.
Lvl 2: Damage scales with Geralt’s Adrenaline value, and can be increased by up to 50%.
Lvl 3: Deals 250% Attack Rating damage that ignores enemy Defense.
Lvl 4: Successful hits with this skill increases Geralt’s Haste by 10 points for 25 seconds. The effect stacks up to 3 times.
Battle Sign – Geralt uses different Witcher signs during battles:
Yrden: Geralt places a magical trap with Yrden at the start of the battle that lasts for 35 seconds. Enemies within the trap have their Dodge reduced by 200 and Haste by 30.
Quen: When taking damage above 10% of his Max Health, Geralt quickly casts Quen to temporarily block all attacks, then gains a shield equal to 12% of his Max Health, for 5 seconds.
Aard: Geralt casts Aard in front of him to knock down enemies within range, dealing 260% Attack Rating damage.
Lvl 2: Geralt casts Aard in front of him to knock down enemies within range, dealing 280% Attack Rating damage.

Potion Buff (Ultimate Ability) – When Adrenaline (Energy) is full, Geralt drinks a potion to buff himself, temporarily boosting his Crit Damage Amplification by 25 points and Dodge by 120 points. During this time, while his Adrenaline is above 400, Geralt is immune to all control effects from enemies. When Geralt is under the effect of the potion, he loses 120 Adrenaline points per second. When he doesn’t have enough Adrenaline left, he takes some White Honey to remove the buff, healing 80% of his Max Health and dispelling most debuffs.
Lvl 2: When Geralt is under the effect of the potion, Geralt’s Crit Damage Amplification temporarily increases by 35 points and Dodge by 150 points.
Lvl 3: When Geralt is under the effect of the potion, Geralt loses 100 Adrenaline points per second.
Signature Item and Skill
Geralt possesses the powers of the weapon Wolf School Medallion, as seen in the Witcher 3 franchise. This weapon can exclusively only be equipped for Geralt. The description of the item reads the following – “A medallion Geralt received when he left Kaer Morhen. It marks his identity as a witcher of the School of the Wolf. The badge vibrates in the presence of magic or monsters. In most cases when this happens, it means the witcher had better grab his sword.”
Wolf’s Sword Skill: Increases the attack range of Whirl and Rend. Every time Geralt uses Rend, he increases his Normal Attack and Whirl damage by 10% for 25 seconds, which can be stacked up to 3 times.
+10 Unlocks Every time Geralt uses Rend, he increases his Normal Attack and Whirl damage by 12% for 25 seconds and stacks up to 3 times.
+20 Unlocks Every time Geralt uses Rend, he increases his Normal Attack and Whirl damage by, 15% for 25 seconds, and stacks up to 3 times.
+30 Unlocks: For every enemy Whirl hit, Geraltis Crit Rating increases by 5 points for 25 seconds, which can be stacked up to 5 times.
Furniture Bonuses: Room of Geralt
3/9 Mythic Piece Bonus: When successfully blocking damage with Quen, nearby enemies take 80% of the blocked damage. Damage cannot exceed 350% of Geralt’s Attack Rating.
9/9 Mythic Piece Bonus: Enhances Ard with a Piercing Cold mutation, increasing the range while inflicting Freeze on enemies for 3.5 seconds.
Tips for Using Geralt
- Firstly, we would like to make it very clear that using Geralt without Yennefer is not advised at all. His Adrenaline Recovery rate is heavily increased when Yennefer is on the same team as him. Geralt is a great hero to take to replace the likes of Damian in your team as he can do 2 things – deal consistently ignore defense damage and sustain himself with his ultimate ability “Potion Up”. Granted, the condition of having Yennefer on the team as well can set him back a couple of points on a tier list due to lack of self-sustainability.
- Geralt is one of the first heroes that potentially has 6 different abilities. His 3rd skill Battle Signs give birth to 3 more abilities that can make Geralt tricky to use. Out of the 3 abilities, we would say Quen and Aard might be the best ones as they suit the rest of Geralt’s skill set.
That concludes everything to know regarding Geralt! To play AFK Arena on your PC, it is highly recommended to use BlueStacks for the most optimized gameplay experience.
