This guide shares practical tips and tricks to help you level faster, gear up efficiently, and unleash your full potential as you carve your path through the Nine Realms!

Tip #1. Picking Up a Class you Like

Since Ashes of Valhalla is a mobile MMO, the expected class system is thrown right at your face when you start your adventures. The game gives you an option to select 1 out of 3 given classes: Gunner, Mage, and Warrior. This class choice is important but not absolute as you can opt out of your chosen class after reaching Mythical awakening with it. This system allows players to experience gameplay from the perspective of each class. Still, you will need to play the game for a long period of time till that time comes, and you will be stuck with the class you have chosen at the beginning.

It’s imperative to know what each class does before you mindlessly pick one. Although there are stark differences between skills of each class, here’s a small gist of the roles they play:

• Warrior – The Warrior is a melee-ranged brute warrior who values strength and pride above anything else. Expect to have a ton of physical attack, and defense, allowing you to mindlessly jump in between fights and lead the charge.

Tip #2. Focus on the Main Quests!

The main quests are denoted by yellow color on the top left-hand side right next to your profile icon. Ashes of Valhalla does a great job with organizing these quests in the order they need to be tackled. For more casual purposes, the game also allows auto-questing and auto-battling right from the get-go. Players can simply click on the quest, and their character will automatically complete it without you requiring to apply any mind to it. The best part? Tons of rewards await you when you complete these quests! From the likes of experience, high-tier equipment, and even premium currency.

Tip #3. Take Up more Bounties!

The Bounty feature unlocks after you reach level 100 and unlock the Tavern. 100 may sound a lot but with the auto-questing enabled, you can easily achieve this target within 5-10 minutes of gameplay. The Tavern is a homely environment that let’s you customize and decorate it according to your wishes. It also has a ton of other game modes, out of which Bounties stands out the most. These are AFK quests that come in differing rarities. Players can choose to deploy their owned heroes and depending on the rarity of the quest, the time taken for completion varies.

Tip #4. Enhance your Skills!

Like we mentioned before, each class in Ashes of Valhalla has access to a multitude of active and passive skills. These skills can be enhanced to increase the range of their effect, damage multipliers, as well as reduce cooldown timers. It’s imperative to keep your skills enhanced at all times to increase efficiency of your character in battles. The game values your CP (Combat Power) a lot, and enhancing your skills directly proves to great value since not only it increases CP but also improves combat efficiency.

Tip #5. Utilize the Forge to Enhance Gear!

In Ashes of Valhalla, the forge is the main area from where you can enhance your gear. While many players might think that enhancing gear is a cool option, we recommend you wait out until at least getting the free T3 mythical gear set when reaching level 100. Do not enhance lower level gear at the beginning, as you will eventually swap it out and your resources will be wasted. Utilize the forge by upgrading mythical or above gear at the click of a button. Each gear enhancement requires gear stones and some Gold. The cost of these resources drastically increases as your enhancement level increases.
