Crimson Realm: Desert Immortal, the debut game from Hong Kong-based developer Eachfungame, is one of the best options worth your time if you’re looking for a new mobile MMORPG. It takes place in a massive world, features many mechanics – some familiar, some new – and allows you to challenge other players too. If you’re new to such a comprehensive game, you might find your first steps challenging: we’ve prepared this guide to help you and make your journey to level 100 easier.

Four Different Classes: Which One Should You Choose?

Like all other mobile MMOs, you will start this game by choosing a hero class. As of May 2026, you have four options: Wanderer, Luthier, Reaper, and Fencer. Don’t focus on damage output when making your choice because the DPS difference between them isn’t that big at the last level. Moreover, each update has the potential to change the power balance between classes.

Therefore, we recommend choosing the class that best suits your play style. Our recommendation is Fencer, as it is more balanced than the others and can deliver satisfactory performance in multiple scenarios, but of course, the decision is yours.

What to Do Between Levels 1-100?

The reason we focus on level 100 is that almost all the different modes and features in the game become available from this level cap onwards. So, you won’t have access to everything when you start playing, and you will gradually unlock them as you level up, and by the time you reach 100, you will have access to everything the game has to offer.

The truth is, you can complete this phase without doing anything. Crimson Realm: Desert Immortal has almost “fully automatic” gameplay. As soon as you enter the game world, your character starts interacting with NPCs, fighting, and completing quests without you having to do anything.

So, if you want, you can reach level 100 in about 3-4 hours just by looking at the screen. To be honest, we recommend doing this, because the game can get quite monotonous in this phase. 80% of the quests are about going somewhere and killing things, and manual gameplay can become very boring in a very short time.

Even in automatic gameplay, you can understand what the basic mechanics of the game are and what you need to focus on when you start playing manually. You will start actively using these after level 100, so let’s take a closer look at them all.

Solo Boss Challenges

Approximately every 10 levels, you’ll be asked to challenge a mini-boss. This is a simple fight with a single enemy with multiple health tiers. They aren’t particularly challenging and with a few exceptions, you can complete them all in auto-battle mode. Defeating bosses will grant you items needed to strengthen your character, such as materials for equipment upgrades.

You can teleport to a challenge as soon as it becomes active by clicking on it in the quest tracker. You’ll teleport back when the battle is over, so you don’t need to go to a specific location (and waste time).

Pets, Deities, Mounts

After completing a certain number of combos while in combat, your character temporarily transforms into a deity. This can happen automatically, or you can do it manually by clicking the relevant button in the interface. While remaining a deity, you will become much more durable and deal more damage.

There are multiple deities you can collect, and they differ in rarity levels. The rarer they are, the more powerful they become. You can upgrade each deity to make it more powerful and gain access to more abilities. New deities are primarily obtained from dungeons and operations.

Pets are tiny creatures that accompany you during combat. They primarily provide combat bonuses, and each has a different one. Prefer pets that provide XP bonuses until you reach the maximum level. You can level up each pet and make its bonuses more effective. New pets are obtained from solo boss challenges, dungeons, and operations.

Mounts simply increase your travel speed on the map, but like pets, they provide stat bonuses. You can increase your character’s HP, ATK, DEF, and Armor Break by simply owning them. Mounts can also be upgraded, and new ones are obtained from different sources such as Arena, 1v1 PvP, and Bound Jade Shop.

Dungeons

There are two different types of dungeons you can enter a certain number of times each day: Deity Temple and Gold Ingot. The first is used to collect new deities and other upgrade materials. The second, as you might guess, is for collecting gold. Both also allow you to earn a large amount of XP, so you will use them frequently during the leveling process. Complete these dungeons every day until you reach the daily limit.

In summary:

  • Choose a hero class that suits your play style, and if you can’t decide, opt for Fencer.
  • Keep auto-play active until you reach Level 100.
  • From Level 101 onwards, complete solo boss challenges to obtain new equipment.
  • Also, complete the available dungeons each day to obtain materials that will allow you to upgrade your deity, pet, and mount.
  • Repeat this cycle until you reach the last level.

If this cycle becomes boring at some point, you can reactivate auto-play: it does a pretty good job of keeping your character alive. Reaching the last level won’t take long, and it will be even shorter if you follow the advice we give in our tips & tricks guide.

As always, don’t forget that you can play Crimson Realm: Desert Immortal on your PC with BlueStacks this way, you can enjoy a more comfortable gameplay experience and the advantage of using a controller.
